MICHAEL KINSLEY: I don\u2019t understand why you\u2019re so defensive, Rush. What\u2019s wrong with —<\/p>\n

RUSH ARCHIVE: Because I take my business as seriously as you take yours —<\/p>\n

MICHAEL KINSLEY: All right.<\/p>\n

RUSH ARCHIVE: — and the term “radical” implies irresponsible; it implies dangerous and all this.<\/p>\n

PIERS MORGAN: From 1990, that\u2019s Crossfire with the younger Rush Limbaugh making his case is a guest.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I have nothing to do with this program, I have nothing to do with Crossfire but they\u2019re gonna bring it back. Newt Gingrich will anchor the conservative side of this and Stephanie Cutter will anchor the left side for the Democrats. Of course, I have nothing to do with it but there they are using me. What is this “younger”? (impression) “The younger Rush Limbaugh making his case as a guest.” Yes, that\u2019s from the tired and worn out Piers Morgan who was never anything here. <\/p>\n

Anyway, I\u2019ve got nothing to do with the program, but it\u2019s just the case that every network uses me to sell their warmed-over shows that nobody wants to watch. You can see Crossfire every night, day, whatever, on any cable TV channel. That\u2019s all it is anymore. Anyway, I just wanted to throw that in there. (interruption) Yeah, Howard Kurtz is going to Fox. That\u2019s right, Howard Kurtz is going to the News Channel as a media analyst. Jon Scott who does the media analysis show at Fox is leaving to do something else at Fox. <\/p>\n
