RUSH: Yeah, here we are, great to be back here, folks. The news just isn\u2019t the news when I\u2019m not here to tell you about it. I had so many people send me e-mails last week and the first couple days this week: “You know, Rush, there\u2019s a lot going on, but it just doesn\u2019t seem like it\u2019s actually going on without you here.” Folks, trust me, it was going on. It was happening. And I know it just doesn\u2019t seem the same, but the news isn\u2019t the news when I\u2019m away. Because there isn\u2019t any news anymore. It\u2019s all agenda, propaganda, and all that. <\/p>\n

Forgive me, folks, but I\u2019m being inundated with e-mail from people: “Can you believe Obama? Can you believe Obama appointing Susan Rice?” Yes, entirely, totally. What do you… rein it in, Rush. You\u2019re just back here. Don\u2019t irritate people right off the bat. Wait \u2019til the second hour to do that. Folks, we\u2019re not gonna stop Obama from being Obama. And you gotta remember that everything you know about Susan Rice and Benghazi, over half the country doesn\u2019t know. The low-information voters<\/a> still don\u2019t know about that, and they don\u2019t care, and the name Samantha Power isn\u2019t gonna mean beans to \u2019em. <\/p>\n

Right now they\u2019re focused on whether Kim Kardashian\u2019s baby in the womb is a boy or a girl. And, by the way, did you hear what Kim Kardashian said about that? (imitating Kim) “Well, it can\u2019t be a boy because we don\u2019t see the pee-pee. You\u2019d be able to see the pee-pee.” Meanwhile, Bruce Jenner, who is Kardashian\u2019s stepfather, says (paraphrasing), “Ah, this West guy, you know, he\u2019s never around.” Now, that\u2019s the news that they\u2019re following out there. But the fact that Susan Rice and Samantha Power… yeah, folks, it is a giant in-your-face to the Republicans, exactly what it is. That\u2019s who President Obama is. <\/p>\n

“Okay, you guys think that Rice is bad news. You think Samantha Power… Here, let me give \u2019em even more. What do you think of that, Mitch? What do you think of that, John?” That\u2019s exactly what this is. That\u2019s who Obama is. And there\u2019s no amount of news attention, there\u2019s no amount of analysis of what Rice did and who Samantha Power is. You know, she\u2019s Mrs. Cass Sunstein, and you know who Cass Sunstein is. Cass Sunstein is the Harvard Law professor who arguably is the leader of this entire belief system that the Bill of Rights is anti-government and needs to be changed. <\/p>\n

This Constitution is a charter of negative liberties because it doesn\u2019t tell the government what they can do. He\u2019s the architect of that thinking, arguably. Samantha Power is his wife. She\u2019s very anti-Israel. Of course Obama is gouging the Republicans in the eyes with these two appointments. That\u2019s who he is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Folks, let me explain. Susan Rice, I don\u2019t care. I\u2019d rather tell you what\u2019s important down the road. The Susan Rice appointment, you\u2019re supposed to be mad. Obama is relishing you getting mad. How dare he? The fact that this woman lied to the country and lied to the Republicans about Benghazi and he promotes her is exactly what he wants. James Carville\u2019s out there even saying (impression), “Yeah, it\u2019s an in-your-face appointment. He wanted her to be secretary of state, but the Republicans would never confirm her so this is what he\u2019s doing, in-your-face, all right?” <\/p>\n

He likes her. She is him. There\u2019s nothing that\u2019s gonna stop it. And the same thing with Samantha Power. These people are who they are.
