Very interesting.  It seems like the open-minded and tolerant left &#8212; of course they are &#8212; Chris Broussard last night on Outside the Lines, after Collins came out with his revelation they did, you know, an Outside the Lines special, and they had Chris Broussard on. And in case you don\u2019t know who that is, he\u2019s one of their NBA reporters, like the Chris Mortensen, if you will, of the NBA, and with the playoffs and everything going on &#8212; anyway, so they asked him about Collins and, you know, being in the locker room, et cetera, and Broussard talked about how, you know, there are a lot of religious players, and in the Bible it says homosexuality is a sin, et cetera.  And very interesting, no Chris Broussard has been seen since then.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah, he\u2019s been retracting his tweets all day long and apologizing for being misunderstood.  I saw this happen.  I watched Broussard say this, and I said, &#8220;Look, I really respect him for saying it, but does he not know what happened to the 49er player during the Super Bowl?&#8221;  The 49er playing during the Super Bowl said the same thing and the league shut down the Super Bowl \u2019til this guy got his mind right and then they resumed practice. Everything came to a screeching halt. I forget this guy\u2019s name, Chris something or other for the 49ers, young kid, &#8220;I don\u2019t want any of that stuff in our locker room.&#8221; Uh, uh, wait a minute, cancel Super Bowl practice, we gotta deal with this kid. They did.  He apologized. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HCOXBgBjDgY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A couple of other people have said things on ESPN that they\u2019ve been &#8212; who was the black reporter, can\u2019t remember his name, but this was a big one.  They suspended him and they fired him for 30 days.  I forget who and what, but I couldn\u2019t believe the guy went out and said it, knowing what ESPN does with people who speak out against popular culture things.  ESPN does not tolerate people speaking out against what is big in the popular culture.  They just don\u2019t.  Here\u2019s what he said.  Grab sound bite 10.  This is on Outside the Lines yesterday on ESPN.  The host was Steve Weisman, the writer here is Chris Broussard, who writes for ESPN, the magazine, they asked him about Jason Collins coming out, and they said, &#8220;You\u2019re a Christian, Chris, what\u2019s your take on this?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>BROUSSARD:  Living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits, it says that, you know, that\u2019s a sin.  And if you\u2019re openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, adultery, fornication, premarital sex between heterosexuals, whatever it may be, I believe that\u2019s walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ.  So I would not characterize that person as a Christian \u2019cause I don\u2019t think the Bible would characterize him as a Christian.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=12554\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/RushMediaMont043013.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, you say he hasn\u2019t been heard from since then, I don\u2019t know about that, but I do know that he\u2019s on, whatever it is, Twitter or Facebook, walking it back a little bit. But he said, &#8220;Look, I don\u2019t care, you could be talking about extra marital sex, premarital, promiscuity, heterosexual, I don\u2019t care.&#8221;  He made that point, but ESPN is not gonna &#8212; this is the point, everybody talks about we gotta be tolerant and accepting, but nobody is.  This is one of the popular culture demands that we bend over and pay homage to this player coming out, and if you don\u2019t do that, you don\u2019t get tolerance and understanding. You get something else.  It was predictable.  The minute I saw this, I knew what was going to happen. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Isn\u2019t that the whole point of freedom?  Isn\u2019t tolerance tolerating people that disagree with you?  So Jason Collins comes out, and he\u2019s gay, and whoever publicly doesn\u2019t sign on to it has to be silenced, may be punished, fired, penalized.  So there is no freedom with liberals.  There is only demands that you think exactly as they do, and if you don\u2019t, they\u2019ll call you divisive and disruptive. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: To the phones we go to New York, Albany.
