RUSH: Overland Park, Kansas, where I used to live in a shack. Mary, welcome to the EIB Network. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi there.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The reason I called is because you started the program talkin\u2019 about golf. Nothing wrong with that, but I think our country\u2019s going to hell, and I don\u2019t think we should be talkin\u2019 about golf. We should be talkin\u2019 about what\u2019s goin\u2019 on.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I am. I spent maybe five minutes talking about golf. Before that and after that, I\u2019ve been talking about really serious things. You just heard the last discussion.<\/p>\n

CALLER: About the survey?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. We\u2019re gonna spend $1.5 million, Mary, to find out why 75% of lesbians are fat and gay males aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, what if…? I had a survey done to me yesterday, from the government. They\u2019re checking to see that my health care are doing the right thing and putting the right stuff down. I says, “Well, why you doing this?” and his answer to me was: Well, they want to make sure that when my health people, my doctor, sends the thing for payment or whatever, that they\u2019re being treated for the right thing. He said, “After all, sometimes the clerks, who were just kids that graduated from high school, don\u2019t know what they\u2019re doin\u2019.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And that\u2019s money spent, that company. It\u2019s a government thing. They\u2019re the ones doing it, and must have been about 25 pages, that he had to ask me questions. So there\u2019s another case of waste.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly. It\u2019s all over.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I said, “Why don\u2019t you just go to my doctor?” He says, “No, because like I just explained, his associates might not put the right information in.” These are the things going on.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know, and it\u2019s all so unnecessary. All that you care about is being able to go to doctor when you\u2019re sick and being treated for it and going home.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you\u2019ve got all of this mishmash in the middle of it, and now you have to worry about whether or not the doctor treating you is gonna know what\u2019s wrong with you, because some high school graduate who can\u2019t read is in charge of putting your information on a form.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Or him. He said that. But I think that\u2019s a disgrace.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It is. I agree with you totally.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s terrible. And to download (sic) the people that are working at doctor\u2019s office like that? That\u2019s a disgrace. But of course this is the way they work? She doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What do you mean, “To download the people” in the doctor\u2019s office? What do you mean, criticize them?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Tell them saying negative things about the workers.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh. Oh.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019s saying negative things about the workers. He\u2019s not saying it about the doctor. He\u2019s saying that the workers not put the right information in, and they want to make sure the right stuff is going in. I says, “Why?” I said, “You can get that from my doctor.” They more or less trying to say that the doctor is putting in more than she should.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You mean to bill you excessively?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. That just rubs you raw. Doesn\u2019t that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s just a disgrace, charging senior citizens for which for their health care. I know, I know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: If they needed that money let it go to the kids that want to go in the White House.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The tours?<\/p>\n

CALLER: The tours.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: See. That\u2019s more important. And then they want to close the parks and stuff. I mean, where does he come up with these idiotic ideas?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, they do this because they don\u2019t want to cut any money, and if they take it close the park, then they\u2019re gonna close the fire department, and they\u2019re gonna close the police station, and then you as the citizen scream, “No, no, no! Don\u2019t do that! I\u2019d rather pay more in taxes.”<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yep.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s why they tell you they\u2019re gonna close that stuff.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The fire and the police department are from the state or from the city where you will.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, I know, that\u2019s why the federal government\u2019s got nothing to say about it and yet they\u2019re part of the sequester. They\u2019re insulting the… Well, I don\u2019t know how insulting the intelligence — when you\u2019re not very smart to begin with. Not you, but I mean low-information voters.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I think a lot of people have gotten so use to the freeos, that they don\u2019t want to give them up. I mean, let\u2019s face it, didn\u2019t he go two years for the unemployment? He extended and extended? The people said, “Ah, I\u2019m not gonna look for a job. I\u2019m getting this money anyway.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. You got it. Exactly right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: So there\u2019s another group that\u2019s getting a handout. You\u2019re not encouraging the country to get up. He don\u2019t want the country to get up.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly.<\/p>\n

CALLER: We all know that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: When are those people gonna think about it?<\/p>\n

RUSH: What are you, afraid I\u2019m not talking about all of this stuff, Mary?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I think we should do it more.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mean, you\u2019re singing my song! You could guest host this show one day, with the way you\u2019re thinking. You\u2019ve wounded me to the heart here. I mean, you\u2019ve said I\u2019m being derelict in my duty.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, because there\u2019s some things that are on… Like, for instance, today, a friend went through the airport, and they did a search on her, and she had a fit.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, let me tell you, you talk about…?<\/p>\n

CALLER: She had a fit.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ve been pulled out.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Did you hear about Claire McCaskill, senator from Missouri? Get this. Same thing, I\u2019m sure, happened to your friend Pat. “Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) complained Monday she was subject to a very uncomfortable screening by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).” Now, she\u2019s complained about this before. She “tweeted that she as selected for a pat-down and that the experience was not a pleasant one.” She tweeted, “Got private, more aggressive pat down. OMG. #veryuncomfortable.”<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, what do you think happened to her, Mary?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nothin\u2019. She\u2019s probably gonna have that person that did the pat-down get fired.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I don\u2019t know about that, but something did happen to her. She got patted down so —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Just like we do!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ve been pulled out of the line and, at my age, I think it\u2019s a compliment. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Have you been patted down privately and uncomfortably?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, not that uncomfortably.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s what she\u2019s talking about. Look, this is code language. We know what she\u2019s saying. She was felt up!<\/p>\n

CALLER: They did that to me, but it wasn\u2019t uncomfortable. This is a woman that was doing her job.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you may enjoy it. She didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I think she\u2019s blowing it out of proportion that they picked on her to pull her out and do it. That\u2019s why. Bottom line.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, because she\u2019s a senator, she thinks that she shouldn\u2019t have to subject herself to this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s right. Go right through.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you may have a point.<\/p>\n

CALLER: She just didn\u2019t care for being pulled out like us.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, what happened to your friend Pat?<\/p>\n

CALLER: My friend Pat?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You said Pat. Went to the airport and got all screened and stuff.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, no. That was that me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I got screened out. But I think it\u2019s their job. I mean, let\u2019s face it: They have people going through that want to kill us, and who do they pick? They pick grandmothers or somebody in a wheelchair.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They finally picked a senator and, “Oh, my God!”<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know, they wouldn\u2019t bomb anyone.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They\u2019re carrying on.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know a grandmother out there bomb anybody.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Mary, have you ever heard of Rory McIlroy?<\/a><\/p>\n

CALLER: That name sounds familiar.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, yeah. Great, great golfer.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We have a young man, 11 years old on the phone, from Port Charlotte, Florida. Jacob, hi. Welcome to the EIB Network. Great to have you here. What\u2019s up?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Mr. Limbaugh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m 11-year-old conservative and getting to speak with you is just as it was when I met three of my favorite golfers.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That is wonderful. You\u2019re making my day. Thank you so much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re welcome. Want me to name \u2019em?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Who are your three favorite golfers?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Greg Norman, Brandt Snedeker, and Rickie Fowler.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Where did you meet them?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I met them on Naples, Florida, Shark Shootout.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, that\u2019s Greg Norman\u2019s tournament.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I go there every year.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019ve not met Rickie Fowler, and I haven\u2019t met Brandt Snedeker, but I\u2019ve met Greg Norman. And, you know what, Jacob? I\u2019ve even played golf with Greg Norman, and he was as nice as he could be. He was helpful. You know, as you get older, if you have the opportunity to play, a lot of professionals don\u2019t want to get caught up dealing with amateurs and trying to teach them or help them because it\u2019s hopeless, usually, but Norman was one of those guys that went out of his way to try to be helpful. It was in a round, in fact, with Raymond Floyd. I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve heard of Raymond Floyd.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And my friend Marvin Shanken, who I was talking about in the first hour when I was talking about golf. Well, that\u2019s cool. So when you met these people, I\u2019m curious to know, you\u2019re 11, and —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Sometimes when you meet people that you really respect they disappoint you, they\u2019re not what you hoped they would be. Were these guys nice to you? Did you like them all?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, Brandt Snedeker gave me his autograph.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s great.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And he shook my hand.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s wonderful. I\u2019m happy to hear that. Do you play?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I\u2019ve been playing for four years.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you good?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I guess I\u2019d say that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Good. How good are you? How would you describe that you\u2019re good to me?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I have a sister that\u2019s named Gabby. She\u2019s good, but I think I\u2019m a little better.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you should be. You should be. But how old is Gabby?<\/p>\n

CALLER: She\u2019s 11, too. We\u2019re twins.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh. Have you played enough yet to have a handicap?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No. Okay. But you love it, you like it, right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You get to play as much as you\u2019d like to?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, I go every single Saturday.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it\u2019s great when people your age find something they really like and have a chance to pursue it, and Jacob, thanks for the call.<\/p>\n
