RUSH: We got a call from Stuttgart, Germany, that I want to get to quick. It\u2019s Robert, and we are happy to have you on the program. Hello, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, there, Rush. Mega dittos. Apple and cigar-loving dittos from the home of Mercedes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much. I appreciate the call.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, thanks for taking it. It\u2019s a real pleasure for me. I called because we had a fantastic customer service experience from Two If By Tea<\/a>. I ordered for myself and for some other folks stateside some of the blueberry iced tea when it came out. It wasn\u2019t clear on the website at the time, but we had a delay and they told me APO addresses over here in Europe are not considered free shipping, but after, I think because of the time difference, going through a couple of days worth of e-mails, they said, “Well, hey, we\u2019ve delayed you long enough. We\u2019re gonna go ahead and just pay for it this time, no shipping, and, by the way, here\u2019s a free case of tea.” So we got our blueberry, which is my favorite tea and my wife, God love her, she\u2019s not your biggest fan, but she said that your blueberry iced tea was the cat\u2019s meow.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, we\u2019re close to getting her won over. First step.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I hope so.<\/p>\n

RUSH: First step. Here you are in a land of beer calling to tell us how much you like our tea. That\u2019s fabulous. That\u2019s absolutely terrific. And look, we have some people in the Two If By Tea customer service department who are some of the best people in the world. Elizabeth runs that department. I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s who you spoke to or dealt with, but I appreciate all these comments, \u2019cause that\u2019s something that we spend a lot of time on, is customer service.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You made a believer out of me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s our direct link to people and the customer, and I just love having it validated with calls like yours. But I\u2019m also happy to know that we are giving away the tea. I need to look into that. (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Just the one time they told me, but the delay, I guess, is what prompted that and what they did was they did a good marketing ploy. They sent a second case, but it was a different flavor.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, it\u2019s great marketing, give the product away? There\u2019s no better marketing ploy. You\u2019re absolutely right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: We didn\u2019t even know we liked peach, and that\u2019s my second favorite now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Well, look. That\u2019s a great story. I\u2019m really glad that you were able to get through all the way from Stuttgart and happy to hear the story because it\u2019s something we spend a lot of time on at Two If By Tea.<\/a> It\u2019s a direct link to the customers and people in this audience, and it\u2019s great to hear that you had such a pleasant experience with it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: As an active duty service member, I thank you for your service to our country.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, we all have our roles, and everybody here has profound love and respect for what you do and the choices you\u2019ve made. You volunteered, so everybody understands that and has great appreciation for you, too.<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t know whose tea it is, and then you show \u2019em the label, the bottle, and watch their faces fall open, say, “You\u2019ve been Limbaugh\u2019d.” So we got a lot of fun things going on there, and we\u2019ve had a fun day today.
