November 9th, 2009. This is Obama\u2019s first year. And he\u2019s being interviewed by our old buddy Jacob Tapper at ABC News. And they\u2019re talking about Medicare cuts in Obamacare. Listen to this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: One of the concerns about health care and how you pay for it: One third of the funding comes from cuts to Medicare.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: Right.<\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: A lot of times, as you know, what happens in Congress is somebody will do something bold; and then Congress, close to election season, will undo it.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: Right.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/t5Ha7RNpn24\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: You saw it with the doc fix.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: Right.<\/p>\n<p>TAPPER: Are you willing to pledge that whatever cuts in Medicare are being made to fund health insurance, one third of it, that you will veto anything that tries to undo that?<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: Yes! I actually have said that it is important for us to make sure this thing is deficit neutral, without tricks. I said I wouldn\u2019t sign a bill that didn\u2019t meet that criteria.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Here is Obama admitting the $700 billion in Medicare cuts. Our old buddy Jacob Tapper asks him head on: &#8220;One of the concerns about health care and how you pay for it: One third of the funding comes from cuts to Medicare.&#8221; Obama: &#8220;Right.&#8221; Tapper: &#8220;Are you willing to pledge that whatever cuts in Medicare are being made to fund health insurance, one third of it, that you will veto anything that tries to undo&#8221; those cuts? Obama: &#8220;Yes!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Right here it is.<\/p>\n<p>Obama admitted to our old buddy Jacob Tapper at ABC News that he was cutting $700 billion out of Medicare, and he swore to keep it in there. By the way, do you notice that Obamacare is no longer &#8220;deficit neutral&#8221;? It\u2019s going to blow a trillion dollar hole in the budget next year. (long sigh) I wonder if Debbie &#8220;Blabbermouth&#8221; Schultz likes her health care plan, because it\u2019s Paul Ryan\u2019s plan.
