Dinesh D\u2019Souza, remember his book, The Roots of Obama\u2019s Rage? His theory is that Obama\u2019s father, an anti-colonialist, had a profound impact on Obama. He\u2019s made a movie out of this. The Roots of Obama\u2019s Rage is the movie, and he went over and talked to Obama\u2019s brother in the hut as part of the movie, and the movie is playing to sold out theaters. It\u2019s opening wide soon. We\u2019re talking to Dinesh today about that.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hfLsSg9wZlE?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  The name of Dinesh D\u2019Souza\u2019s movie, it\u2019s a documentary.  It\u2019s called 2016: Obama\u2019s America.  And the poster for the movie is 2016: Obama\u2019s America &#8212; Love Him, Hate Him, You Don\u2019t Know Him.  That\u2019s clever.  Love him or hate him, you don\u2019t know him.  The film has been generating lots of buzz.  The Hollywood Reporter says that people crammed into the Edwards Houston Marq\u2019E Stadium for Thursday\u2019s showing in Houston, Texas.  They had to turn away 200 people, and it opens wide soon.  So he made a documentary off the book that he wrote, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1596982764?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=theofficiw0c2-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1596982764\">The Roots of Obama\u2019s Rage.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>He actually went over to Kenya and found Obama\u2019s brother\u2019s hut, and he interviews Obama\u2019s brother.  I don\u2019t think they could fit in the hut, so I think the interview was done outside the hut.  I don\u2019t know if the brother got paid.  We\u2019ll find out.  I\u2019ll ask Dinesh if the brother got paid.  If he did, it probably made a huge difference.  The guy lives on a dollar a year or some such thing. Twenty bucks would change the guy\u2019s life. Ann, I\u2019m glad you waited.  Great to have you on the EIB Network.  Hello.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  You\u2019re right on today.  And just an aside about D\u2019Souza\u2019s upcoming show.  Love him or hate him, you don\u2019t know him &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yep.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  &#8212; that is so right on.  I just got back from vacation out East.  I was trying to talk to different people about who they were voting for, why they were gonna vote for him. I ran into an old couple and the woman just sat there and said, &#8220;I don\u2019t know, I don\u2019t know, I just love him.&#8221;  And I said, &#8220;What do you love about him?&#8221;  She said, &#8220;I don\u2019t know, I don\u2019t know, don\u2019t make me talk about this. I can\u2019t talk about this. I just love him.&#8221;  And finally at the end of this conversation &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Wait, wait, wait, wait a minute.  I want to make sure I\u2019m hearing this right.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  She loves the guy but she doesn\u2019t want to talk about it?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Right, she doesn\u2019t know why.  She doesn\u2019t want to talk about it.  It was making her sweat to think about it.  She\u2019s seventy-five years old.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Seventy-five years old.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah.  Anyway, at the end of the conversation she said, &#8220;Well, maybe I just won\u2019t vote, then.&#8221;  I said, &#8220;Good idea.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH.  All right, well that\u2019s the way to handle it.  That is a great catch line, love him or hate him, you don\u2019t know him.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s right.  Yeah.  I tried to tell her a few things about Obamacare, and the door was shut.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  There was no way to get through. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Give me an example of one thing that you told this woman trying to talk her out of love.  And that\u2019s a tough thing to do.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Okay.  Well, she had been talking about how many operations she got through Medicare in the last two or three years &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, that\u2019s all you need to tell me.  It\u2019s not the fact she loves Obama; she loves Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I told her once Obamacare gets into place you\u2019re not gonna get any more operations.  You\u2019re gonna get a pain pill.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Death panel is what she\u2019s gonna get.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s exactly it.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1596982764?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=theofficiw0c2-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1596982764\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"eZObject_65676\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Roots-of-Obamas-Rageok1_large.jpg\"\/><\/a>RUSH:  What did she say to that?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah.  I told her that, I told her about the IPAB, I told her &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  What did she say?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  She couldn\u2019t talk about it.  She said, &#8220;I\u2019m starting to sweat here.  I just can\u2019t discuss this.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  It\u2019s flop sweat.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  And her husband was there, and I said to him, &#8220;What is it about Obama that\u2019s gonna make you vote for him?&#8221;  And he said he\u2019s going after the 1%.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.  Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yep.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  That was his whole &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You know what?  I don\u2019t think it has anything to do with Obama.  I just think they\u2019re Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yes, yes.  Well, listen to this.  The reason I called was your question, how come people are gonna vote for him?  You gotta consider the libs have been in control of education from Head Start, which, incidentally, does not have any positive results, to postgraduate education in this country.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah, I know all these answers.  I ask these questions rhetorically.  In an admittedly no-such-thing perfect world, I don\u2019t understand how these guys would get one vote.  It\u2019s not a perfect world, obviously.  I know why people vote for \u2019em, but the people that do are not thinking.  You just illustrated that with this pair of seasoned citizens that you ran into.  Anyway, Ann, I appreciate the call.
