RUSH: I\u2019ve got a little revisit here of Obama and, “You didn\u2019t build that. You didn\u2019t make that happen.” ‘Cause we\u2019re not gonna let that go away. And Obama\u2019s now got an ad out. I think all this is really getting under his skin, folks. He\u2019s got an ad out now whining and moaning that people take him out of context. He\u2019s out there saying people that do what he does for a living, you have to expect people to make things up about you, and you have to expect people lie about you, and you have to expect that kind of criticism. That\u2019s part of the doing the job, but this he\u2019s not gonna put up with. This kind of misrepresentation, taking him out of context. So this is getting under his skin. And even if it weren\u2019t, we would keep focus on it because this is who he is.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Here\u2019s Obama. This is a new reelect Obama TV ad. It\u2019s “Always.” It has the president directly responding to Romney\u2019s use of Obama\u2019s “you didn\u2019t build that” <\/a>remarks. I think this might be Obama\u2019s first rebuttal ad, maybe ever. Here\u2019s how it sounds.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: Those ads taking my words about small business out of context, they\u2019re flat-out wrong. Of course Americans build their own businesses. Every day hardworking people sacrifice to meet a payroll, create jobs, and make our economy right. And what I said was that we need to stand behind them as America always has by investing in education and training, roads and bridges, research and technology.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What a crock. <\/p>\n

OBAMA: I\u2019m Barack Obama. And I approved this message because I believe we\u2019re all in this together.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, well, bring out the Stradivarius. Bring out the violins. Oh, we\u2019re all in this together. Roads and bridges. You liberals drive me nuts with your cliches. Roads and bridges. Investing in education, as though we don\u2019t. Training? We wouldn\u2019t need training if education were worth a damn. We wouldn\u2019t need work training stations or whatever the hell these things are called. If people were properly educated in school you wouldn\u2019t need to have these stupid federal, whatever they\u2019re called, work centers. Research and technology, you don\u2019t do any of that. Ah, folks, it drives me nuts all these liberal cliches. And then this whining. What\u2019s he whining about? Let\u2019s go back. Friday, February 13th, Roanoke, Virginia.<\/p>\n
