RUSH: Joyce in Pittsburgh. Thank you. You\u2019re up first today. Great to have you here with us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great to be with you again, Rush. How are you today?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Very, very well. Thank you very much. I have a lot of good, fun stuff coming up here today, including giving away the first new third generation engraved iPad. I can\u2019t wait.<\/p>\n

CALLER: How do I get my hands on one of those?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, the official rules<\/a> are at RushLimbaugh.com, our website. Basically, you just have to become a follower of mine on Twitter<\/a>, which is easy.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It doesn\u2019t cost anything. If you have an e-mail address, that\u2019s how you sign up and get an account, and we\u2019re gonna be randomly selecting from people that follow me on Twitter, and we\u2019re gonna do it like six or seven of \u2019em.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, that would be great because I\u2019ve got a new iPad 3 but I can\u2019t wait to get one that\u2019s got your engraving on it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019ll tell you what. Do you like it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I love it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It took me a day and a half to appreciate that screen<\/a>. I laughed. I watched some people who are putting the iPad 2 next to the new iPad and asking if they could tell the difference, and some people can\u2019t, and that doesn\u2019t surprise me. It took me a day and a half to fully appreciate it, and now there\u2019s no going back.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. It streams from Netflix just really great.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. Well, the picture quality is overwhelming. There\u2019s no quality like this even on a 50-inch flat screen TV. There\u2019s nothing like this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I\u2019m thrilled with it. Oh, before we get into the real gist of the call my first comment is, why don\u2019t we get Tebow to come as backup to Roethlisberger?<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) It might be affordable.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ll tell you what: I\u2019d love to have the boy here. He\u2019s great.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Anyway, I\u2019ll tell you what: As a CPA in tax season and a financial consultant, I am just sick to death of the beating up of our friend Mr. Ryan. I think we need to do something to get that boy into higher positions of authority and have his running mate be Colonel Allen West. What do you think of that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it is frustrating, but we are the targets. Whoever sticks their neck out on our side, it\u2019s gonna get chopped off. It really is. We have to be confident. The people doing this are in the minority in terms of the population. They really, really are. It doesn\u2019t like look like it \u2019cause the media, but they really are. And Paul Ryan keeps coming back. He\u2019s not going away. He\u2019s got guts.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re right. He reminds me of Sarah Palin<\/a>. There\u2019s no way I was gonna watch that movie Game Change.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, that movie.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was too busy watching The Undefeated at the same time slot as the kickoff of Game Change.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We watched it Saturday night, and I\u2019m telling you: It was a cartoon.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It was so… We sat there looking at each other in amazement, and what we were saying to each other was: “Do you realize that every liberal in the country thinks this is the Bible? They think this is Gospel.”<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The disconnect in this country is profound. There were two heroes in that movie: Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace. They were heroes. Everybody else didn\u2019t know what they were doing. It was just over the top, so outrageous that I was asking myself, “How many people actually believe this happened?” It was such a caricature. There was nothing real about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you know, if we see a good running mate… If Romney does indeed get the nomination — which, you know, my loyalties lay elsewhere, but if Romney does indeed get the nomination — if we had a Marco Rubio you might see the same enthusiasm behind Romney that you saw behind McCain once he chose Palin.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Could be.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Because I stood down on a football field in September of 2008 along with 50 to 60,000 other people in Beaver Falls, PA. You probably know where that is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, I do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And I stood there for three hours waiting for her to come, and you (chuckles) would not have had that crowd if it would have been McCain.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s the thing. This movie misses the whole point about Palin. Palin is the only thing that gave that campaign a heartbeat, gave it any life. Palin was generating the crowds. I\u2019ll tell you what. That movie — that movie Game Change — is part of the Democrat war on women. <\/a> No question. Thanks, Joyce.
