CALLER: I\u2019ll have to vote for whoever gets the Republican nomination, whether I agree with them a hundred percent or not.<\/p>\n
RUSH: That\u2019s what it boils down to, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yeah!<\/p>\n
RUSH: Because you\u2019re not gonna support Obama.<\/p>\n
CALLER: No. He\u2019s ruining us, but people need to keep being told that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No matter what. Well, look, you know what? I appreciate your sensitivity. You\u2019re hearing all these, quote, unquote, “longtime listeners.” You probably think they\u2019re not long-time callers.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You probably think that they\u2019re just newbies who are trying to say they\u2019ve been longtime listeners to give themselves credibility, and then say, “You know, I normally agree with you, but on this, Rush, you\u2019re departing from where I thought you should be.” It\u2019s the nature of the game. CALLER: Anyways, I\u2019m a conservative here in Houston, and I think that it might not be a bad thing if Obama did get reelected, and I\u2019m gonna give you my reason for that.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You don\u2019t have to. I\u2019m gonna tell you right now: NO! Why does this keep coming up? In 1992: NO! In 1988, “Rush, let the Democrats win. Let people find out how rotten they are and wipe \u2019em out forever.” In 1992, “Rush, let Clinton win. You know, let\u2019s expose these RINO Republicans like George Bush and let\u2019s make sure people understand what a bunch of worthless creeps the Democrats are! Let \u2019em ruin the country, Rush, and then they\u2019ll never get elected again.” And then in 2000, “Rush, come on! Let \u2019em elect Algore. We got a RINO, George W. Bush.”<\/p>\n
Well, let me tell you something. In 2008, the most destructive, leftist, socialist, Marxist American ever elected was elected. And as we sit here, today he\u2019s got a chance of being reelected. So the theory doesn\u2019t work. Now, I realize you\u2019re new to politics and I appreciate your calling. This comes up at least once a month here. I\u2019m doing my best to maintain my composure. But it will not work. You\u2019re ruining the country in the process of this. Every time a Democrat wins the presidency, we lose a little of this country, and we have lost a large part of it.
