RUSH: He\u2019s bouncing off a story we just had that in New York some people tried to get a couple of chimpanzees to be declared humans for the purposes of rights, human rights. And they did it on the basis that, hey, their DNA 99% matches ours. They\u2019re really close. And the judge said, hey, sorry, can\u2019t do it yet. But the day\u2019s going to come when it will happen. The point is here we have chimpanzees, a 99% our DNA, and we\u2019re trying to get them personhood.<\/section>\n

But 100% percent human beings — if they happen to encounter Planned Parenthood — may as well not even be chimpanzees. That is the point the caller is making. I\u2019m all for any way of illustrating this that gets people\u2019s attention, because I think this is something a lot of people just don\u2019t even want to hear about. They hear about it and say, “I don\u2019t want to hear about it.” It\u2019s one of those things maybe if you don\u2019t think about it maybe it will go away. Maybe if you don\u2019t know about it, it isn\u2019t happening.By the way, there\u2019s a little bit of a news update. We had this yesterday, but Breitbart is running the story again. “Undercover investigator David Daleiden” who made the videos with Planned Parenthood “tells CNN the reason StemExpress” these are the people buying the butchered baby parts “is trying to suppress the video he took of its CEO on May 22,” the fourth video. This is the one, we played the audio of it yesterday where she describes an intact… She doesn\u2019t use the word “baby.”We have “an intact unit” or “intact birth” or whatever. They\u2019re dissecting babies. It\u2019s sick, folks. They\u2019re dissecting a born baby, and that video they\u2019re trying to get suppressed. The reason, he says, is because Stem Express, the buyers, don\u2019t “want anyone to know it bought whole intact dead babies from Planned Parenthood.” There\u2019s the ones that did the dissecting. And they\u2019re working with Planned Parenthood to try to get the video suppressed, and a judge did, in California, grant them a temporary restraining order.So this group, Daleiden\u2019s group, has sent video to the Texas Attorney General in an attempt to head this one off at the pass. But this guy was on CNN. And he said, in a meeting with their top leadership, “the StemExpress execs admitted they sometimes get fully intact fetuses.” That\u2019s a baby, folks. “They sometimes get fully intact fetuses shipped to their labs from the abortion clinics they work with,” and that could be all the evidence you need of born-alive infants.\"\"So that\u2019s why they\u2019re trying to suppress that videotape. They\u2019re very scared of it. You\u2019re not seeing this but the people at Planned Parenthood and StemExpress, there\u2019s a melt-down beginning here. They know if this gets out and has a wide berth, there\u2019s no way they survive. They could have the White House saying it\u2019s fake all day. They can have Hillary Clinton saying, “Oh, this is very, very disturbing, what these video-makers are doing.” But they know this… Everything, no matter how horrible people — everything has its limit where at some point people will say no more. CALLER: Good. Good. I want to make a comment on the whole Cecil the lion situation. I wonder… I don\u2019t remember the dentist\u2019s name, but I wonder if he were harvesting parts for dental research, would that make a difference in the people\u2019s view on this issue?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You mean from the lion?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. If they videotaped him harvesting tissue and samples so he could do research or whatever they\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Interesting question. I\u2019m answering you, honestly: I don\u2019t think that he\u2019d get away with it. The reason is, there\u2019s a picture of Cecil. There\u2019s a picture of Cecil. He\u2019s dead but he looks like sitting there like your pet cat and the two guys, the hunters are behind him. It\u2019s just the cutest thing. That picture, once you have created heart-melt for the creature, that\u2019s what\u2019s not happened yet in Planned Parenthood, sir.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got videos of these people talking about what they\u2019re doing, but there\u2019s no video of what they\u2019re doing yet. There aren\u2019t any pictures. And let\u2019s face it, we\u2019ve become, in many ways in our society… We have to see it. It has to be a picture of it before we establish an emotional connection. So even with that picture, if this guy came and said, “Hey, no, no! I was just looking. You know, we use catgut for sutures and I was looking maybe to strengthen sutures I use dental practice by using lion gut.”<\/p>\n

\"\"I don\u2019t think that would work. It\u2019s too late, and the cat\u2019s out of the bag, so to speak, for this dentist. For this dentist, it\u2019s over. I don\u2019t know what the guy can do. (interruption) Well I\u2019ll try. Snerdley wants me to explain one thing that he doesn\u2019t understand. I\u2019ll try, but what… (interruption) Uh-huh, uh-huh. Well Snerdley has a question. If something happens in Zimbabwe, like this did, why is the US Fish and Wildlife Service looking into it? By the same token, let\u2019s say that the Marine barracks in Saudi Arabia are blown up.<\/p>\n

Why did the FBI go and investigate Benghazi? That was our conflict, the military… (interruption) All right. Okay. Understandably those are US installations. But we have an extradition treaty with Zimbabwe, but I get your point. What\u2019s the US Fish And Wildlife Service doing there? Who are they? They\u2019re a bunch of libs, and they exist with the belief that they have total control over all of this. This is an opportunity to advance the leftist agenda.<\/p>\n

This whole thing with this lion is an attempt to advance the leftist agenda, and this is exactly why fish and wildlife exists. Don\u2019t misunderstand. I\u2019m not supporting Fish and Wildlife. I agree with you, it\u2019s outrageous that they just assume for themselves that they have investigative powers in Zimbabwe. But I don\u2019t know if Zimbabwe has officially welcomed them and said, “Yeah, come on over! We welcome your investigation,” or if they\u2019re just talking and claiming that they\u2019re going to go over there. The FBI does counter terrorism; the US Fish and Wildlife does not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m doing well, sir. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ll get quickly to the point. The thing that seems to just be confusing me in the past week is the majority of media — for some odd reason that I just can\u2019t seem to wrap my head around why — is so broken up about this lion. And I mean, I\u2019ve been listening to you and some of the others on the radio, and some of the callers have just been absolutely irate over this lion.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, don\u2019t lump me in with that bunch because we haven\u2019t taken any of those calls. Not by design, we just haven\u2019t — unless Snerdley is purposely sending them off to the Savannah. We haven\u2019t gotten any. But, look, I can explain this to you. I understand both. I understand why you have people outraged and crying and heartbroken over what happened to the lion. I can totally understand, and I can understand at the same time why the media does not want to report about Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

\"\"Those two things, given everything that I know about our culture today, I can make total sense of. Well, I can explain to you in ways you would understand. The animal business, that\u2019s easy. We\u2019ve humanized animals for all of our lives. We make cartoons of them talking and behaving and interacting as human beings, while at the same time, we make pets out of them. Pretty much everything but the shark. The shark is still hated, reviled and has no love except other shark researchers.<\/p>\n

But the shark — and maybe a snake. I think people hate snakes. I think if this guy had hunted and killed a giant python, like anybody would care. I don\u2019t know. When was the last cartoon show about Sammy the Snake that was everybody\u2019s buddy, and walked with the other figures in a cartoon? You just don\u2019t make sharks, snakes — maybe a couple other examples. But everything else we made into cuddly, human, warm, cuddly pets. Even wild, untamable predator animals.<\/p>\n

\"\"I totally understand. I mean, look, to a lot of people an animal is exactly what an infant is: The essence of innocence. If you leave it alone, it won\u2019t hurt you. It has no ill designs on you. I understand that totally. I also understand that Drive-By Media doesn\u2019t want to get anywhere near the Planned Parenthood story because they don\u2019t want to undermine their cause. They\u2019re not going to undermine the Democrat Party agenda.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re just not going to do it. There\u2019s a lot of teachable moments here in this one issue, particularly the Planned Parenthood issue. There are all kinds of teachable moments. If anybody has any doubts — and it\u2019s hard for me to believe people still do, but there may be some. If anybody has any doubts about the media no longer being the media, about the news, about being objective, this ought to show them.<\/p>\n

So if you have your finger on the pulse of the American society and American culture. You can explain both of these things. People are being torn apart over what happened to the lion. It\u2019s no more complicated than a picture, and then the details. You want me to give you the details? This dentist — about whom no one will ever feel sympathy. Nobody is ever going to feel a bit of sympathy for this guy.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll tell you something else. This is a giant subliminal attack on all hunting. Make no mistake. This guy gets his bow and arrow… Do you know that Cecil survived 40 hours after the bow and arrow strike? And the media\u2019s describing the horrible, the horrible hours he had to endure, the inhumanity, the cruelty. I mean, I totally understand why people are upset.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: I just got an e-mail from Koko Jr. up at the website, a story that happened when I was away on vacation. I was on a golf trip the first part of June. I had no idea this happened. It\u2019s from a UK Daily Mail,<\/a> and there\u2019s an accompanying video of it. I didn\u2019t hear a thing about this when I was gone. Now, I need to ask if any of you did. “Horrifying moment” at the game preserve, actually someplace called The Lion Park. “Horrifying moment lioness reared up and mauled” this woman “through her car window in South African safari park,” and the woman happened to be an editor of the TV game show “Game of Thrones.”<\/p>\n

“Photograph shows lioness rearing up moments before it killed 29-year-old American tourist Katherine Chappell. Standing on its hind legs, the animal is seen peering into vehicle seconds before it lunged through open window. Miss Chappell, who worked as an editor on hit TV program Game Of Thrones, was in South Africa volunteering.” The engineer “who took the photograph, described how lion retreated, blood dripping from its mouth,” and there\u2019s video of this.<\/p>\n

Do you all remember this story? (interruption) You do remember? (interruption) Was there any outrage about it? (interruption) Uh-huh. (interruption) Okay. (interruption) See? So it was her fault. See, it was the woman\u2019s fault. I\u2019ve just been told by the broadcast engineer that he remembers this, and it was the woman\u2019s fault because she\u2019s driving through this lion park in South Africa, and she had the window down and therefore she should have known what was going to happen.<\/p>\n

But wait! But wait! (interruption) “They told her not to open the window and she did anyway.” Why did she open the window? I bet she wanted to pet one of them. (interruption) Okay. “She wanted to take a picture, pet one of them or whatever.” She wanted to get close to one of them because whatever. It\u2019s a sad, sad story. But did they…? Usually when something like this happens, they hunt down the animal and destroy it. Did they do that in this case? (interruption) They did not.<\/p>\n

So the animal, the lion…? (interruption) Okay, now what are we to make of this, anything? (interruption) What? (interruption) What are we to we make of this? (interruption) “The tiger isn\u2019t…” (interruption) Of course, the Rush Limbaugh, “A tiger is a tiger.” (interruption) I know. I know. Snerdley is going back into the archives here. ” A tiger is a tiger.” It\u2019s just a reminder that these are not pets. These are not trainable. Well, they are somewhat.<\/p>\n

\"\"But they\u2019re not tamable, and they don\u2019t love you. They\u2019re wild animals. They\u2019re predators. But the point is that there was contempt for the woman. There was anger at the woman. She made the lion kill her by sucking that lion in. She entrapped that lion by going around with the window open. There wasn\u2019t any anger. That was my point: There was no anger at the lion. It was just doing what it does. A lion is a lion. Point proven.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Look at that, right here. See, on Fox: “Child Endangerment Charges After Mom Leaves Child in Hot Car.” Oh, yeah, that\u2019s really horrible. Child in a hot car! Hot day! Windows rolled up and mom just forgot. That\u2019s horrible. That\u2019s intolerable. It is. I mean, don\u2019t miss understand. But look at how worked up people get over that. “Mr. Limbaugh…” This is Mr. New Castrati speaking. “Mr. Limbaugh, what you don\u2019t understand is a child in a car is an actual human being!<\/p>\n

\"\"“At Planned Parenthood, you\u2019re not talking about a human being. You\u2019re talking about clumps of cells and unviable tissue masses. And besides, they\u2019re not something until the mother says so.” Sadly, Mr. Castrati is right. Sadly, he is. It\u2019s been taken to an extreme. I mean, if you listen to Nancy Pelosi, Pelosi will tell you that that child is not a child until the mother decides to take it home from the hospital. At no time before that does that child exist as a human being.<\/p>\n

CALLER: This whole thing about this guy over in Africa shooting the tiger — lion, tiger, whatever that is. Isn\u2019t that just another shot at taking down our society, our culture? Not our society, our culture? I mean, it\u2019s just like the abortion thing. Now hunters are demonized when the hunting industry is a vast amount of money in this country. I mean, there was a show on, a local show before yours came on, and this guy, the talk show host, the guest host, was calling this guy a murderer! Murderer of the cat.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The dentist was being called a murderer?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, he called him a murderer. And he referred to him as “the murderer. ”<\/p>\n
