RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, they finally convinced me to talk about this. I\u2019m doing a rare Rush to Excellence appearance in Manhattan on the 29th, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. And I\u2019m doing it at the Town Hall theater in Midtown Manhattan. It\u2019s West 43rd Street near Times Square at 7:30 PM. There are precious few seats available, and they are available at WABCradio.com,<\/a> or Ticketmaster. (interruption) Are the most expensive seats gone? Yeah, they\u2019re gone. I didn\u2019t know until just now what the ticket prices are. (interruption) No, I don\u2019t have to pay to get in but I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if they asked me to. (interruption) Oh, the StubHub and eBay and Craigslist, they got the after-market tickets. Oh, okay. So that\u2019s happening. The scalpers you mean. Four hundred, 500 — oh, okay, so the scalpers have gotten in there and some of the most expensive seats available are at 400 and 500 bucks because the scalpers picked up a whole bunch of them.<\/p>\n

<\/a>So there\u2019s precious few left. That\u2019s what this is all about. Okay. Yeah, \u2019cause it sold out and then all of a sudden tickets became available and that\u2019s because these StubHub guys and the after-market guys had picked up their share for resale. Ha-ha-ha-ha. Any hit Broadway show, that\u2019s what it is, the legal scalpers. I\u2019m not using the term scalpers in the literal sense. Brokers is what we\u2019re talking about here. So it\u2019s Tuesday, November 29th, and these are the things I hate doing. I\u2019ve been very open and honest about it, but I do a couple of them a year and they\u2019re always in association with our fine, great EIB radio affiliates. So 7:30 PM on Tuesday the 29th at Town Hall theater, Midtown Manhattan, West 43rd Street near Times Square. Oh, the original ticket prices are $55 and $88, and now the brokers, StubHub, eBay, and Craigslist, the after-market tickets. <\/p>\n

So if you missed the original, what was it, two days and they were practically gone, but now… I\u2019ve been asked to mention that by the brokers, apparently, so… (laughing) I\u2019m just kidding. Now that I\u2019ve mentioned it, that\u2019s probably gone already, sold out by now, but give it a shot, WABCradio.com and that\u2019s the only one this year, right? ‘Cause I successfully wormed out of the three or four others that begged me, but this one for some reason I caved.
