CALLER: Mr. Rush, I would like to brighten your day. I know there\u2019s been a lot of things going on that must have gone wrong.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Everything! Everything that coulda gain wrong has gone wrong. It\u2019s been almost comical.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All right. I believe what I\u2019m about to say just will brighten your day. We are so happy that you have created this Two If By Tea<\/a> — and I\u2019m not a commercial. I\u2019m a 71-year-old woman who\u2019s been a Rushie since we first found you driving home in Ohio years ago.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why, thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And you are our mega patriot. We\u2019re going to have your tea at our Thanksgiving patriot dinner. We call it “the taste of freedom;” and at that dinner, we have two families, we have three cancer survivors, we have a man who has surd three deployments. We are truly Rushies, all of us.<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: Wow. This is something.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And I am looking forward to it because it will be the first time I\u2019ve tasted it. I haven\u2019t tasted it yet; I\u2019m so anxious.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is incredible. I can\u2019t believe what you are saying. I can\u2019t believe what I\u2019m hearing. This is overwhelming to me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, every year we try to do something, because Thanksgiving is so important to all of us because of everything that\u2019s happened to us. We try to, in some way, have everybody involved. Everyone gets up and talks about what they\u2019re thankful for — and my daughter-in-law started this. I love it. And I believe it\u2019s gonna be wonderful.<\/p>\n

RUSH: How many people total will be at your table?<\/p>\n

CALLER: They bring friends. It\u2019ll probably be ten to 14, maybe more.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ten to 14 people.<\/p>\n

CALLER: If anyone wants to bring someone, they do. We make room.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s great.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And it is something you should think about. This is the best thing for Thanksgiving that I\u2019ve seen. I mean it is —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, this is just overwhelming. And you\u2019re going to serve Two If By Tea?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You betcha.<\/p>\n

RUSH: At Thanksgiving dinner.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And I haven\u2019t tried it yet. I\u2019m looking forward to it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, if I say so myself — and I do \u2019cause it is — I don\u2019t think you can find a better tasting iced tea out there. We wouldn\u2019ta put it out there if we didn\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly. We trust you. I mean, absolutely trust. There is never any doubt. You know, we have no doubt about what you say.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I appreciate that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You have been a trustworthy person.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate that more than you know. I really I really do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. I even wrote a poem about you, if you\u2019d like to hear it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Whew!<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: How long is the poem?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Not long, just really wonderful.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, I\u2019ll go for it. I\u2019ll go for it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Some people may say I\u2019m being too self-absorbed here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: “If you have a question or a comment, call in to EIB. Rush Limbaugh will answer; his truth will help you see. Dumbocrats can\u2019t understand but his message is so clear. RUSH: That\u2019s just beautiful. That is just beautiful! Helen, that is great.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s the way we feel.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We have an EIB poet laureate here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggling)<\/p>\n

RUSH: We really do. I mean, you\u2019re going to be serving Two If By Tea at your Thanksgiving table.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, do you — and, by the way, how many poems have crap in \u2019em? I love that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know! Exactly!<\/p>\n

RUSH: I absolutely love that. Now, do you have…?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That what you do just, you know? Don\u2019t try to be one of those elites and use the big words. We can do that. We just don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Helen, do you have the tea?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Not yet, but we will.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, let contribute some to this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, you don\u2019t have to!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, I know. I know. I know I don\u2019t have to. That\u2019s precisely why I want to. I know you didn\u2019t call here trying to game this. I know. So, Helen, do not hang up.
