It\u2019s very frustrating, Rush.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Oh, no.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It&#8230; it\u2019s&#8230; You know, I\u2019ve been a listener of yours since \u201992, and, you know, you open the show talking about the conservative intelligentsia that &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Rush-Disbelief.jpg\"\/><BR\/>CALLER: &#8212; has sold out with presidential candidates from the Republican Party and how they missed the Arab spring and all this kind of stuff. But you hit the left really hard but you seem to soft pedal this criticism of these liberal Republicans, and it just frustrates me to the core. You know, I&#8230; Since \u201992 you &#8212; you\u2019ve been very good, but the landscape\u2019s changing, and I\u2019m really concerned that you\u2019re not changing with it. If we don\u2019t beat back these liberal Republicans, the country\u2019s gonna be gone. We know who the Democrats are. We know how socialist, how big government they are. But, you know, I really break my neck in grassroots activism trying to beat back these liberal, big-government Republicans that campaign calling themselves conservative &#8212; using that adjective: conservative. &#8220;Oh, I\u2019m so conservative, elect me,&#8221; and, &#8220;I\u2019m not the liberal guy. Vote for me, you have nowhere else to go.&#8221;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait a minute. You\u2019re saying that I\u2019m being too soft on liberal Republicans?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, my goodness! You know, Karl Rove hasn\u2019t been on your show in a while. But, you know, if it\u2019s not him, Ken Mehlman, who long before Barack Obama ever announced his interest in the presidency, publicly, Ken Mehlman was quoted in a number of articles saying, it\u2019s only inevitable that the health care system in the United States is gonna be taken over by the federal government. With Republicans like this, they\u2019re gonna destroy the country. It\u2019s not gonna be the liberal Democrats. They can\u2019t do it without liberal Republicans. And I want to see you take your hammer to the liberal Republicans as hard as you do to the liberal Democrats, and I don\u2019t think you do that, and it is hugely frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Boy, you picked a strange day to call and lodge this complaint.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, it\u2019s hard to get through.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It makes me wonder if you\u2019re even listening to the program today. <a view=\"line\" href=\"http:\/\/web-dev03.bur1.premiereradio.net:8150\/daily\/2011\/10\/25\/a_few_words_on_the_accuracy_of_the_conservative_intelligentsia\">The whole first hour today<\/a> was doing exactly what you say.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Name names, Rush. I need names. You\u2019re not naming names.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You know who we\u2019re talking about!<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: But you &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You know who we\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: A lot of people don\u2019t, though.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: What is the &#8220;conservative intelligentsia&#8221; and media? We\u2019ve named the names on this program constantly over and over again. You know who we\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Krauthammer? Will? Let\u2019s get some guys who seem to be conservative that really aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, I don\u2019t know where else you\u2019re gonna go to find this criticism. I spent the first hour of this program pointing out that these people haven\u2019t gotten anything right yet, particularly (I cited as an example), the Arab spring is a great outbreak of democracy. There\u2019s no accountability for these critics, they get to say this stuff, and then it\u2019s forgotten, and when it turns out to be wrong, nobody ever points it out &#8212; and they\u2019re the ones telling us Herman Cain and Bachmann are not qualified on foreign policy. I don\u2019t know. Really, John, all you gotta do is listen. Anyway, I appreciate the call. I understand. I appreciate hearing the sentiments of people, and I know why Snerdley put you on the air. I know exactly why Snerdley put you on the air. I just do. I know exactly why you put him on the air, Snerdley. Pure and simple.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It was Mark McKinnon that we railed against here on this program. He was running McCain\u2019s campaign, and he had run Bush 43\u2019s &#8212; both of his campaigns, ran the media for Bush 43. Highly acclaimed. Mark McKinnon came out and said he\u2019s gonna quit the McCain campaign if they went after Obama, because the candidacy was too historic and he didn\u2019t want to part of that. Now, McKinnon is now part of the No Labels gang, which is basically a bunch of liberals that don\u2019t want to be identified as such.
