CALLER: Hey, Rush, it\u2019s a pleasure. How are you, sir?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Very well sir. In a great mood, actually.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good to hear that. Hey, as you say, the world\u2019s on fire while Obama fiddles and everyone kinda\u2019s been sitting around wondering what is he doing and why is he so complacent. I actually think there is a method to his madness. If you look at the countries in which he has intervened, most recently in Egypt, and the countries in which he refuses to intervene, markedly Iran, you start to see a pattern there, do you not?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You tell me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, for instance, Egypt was, although considered our friends, they were fairly secular in nature. I do believe that the Islamic brotherhood was behind it or actually took the opportunity of the discord. Therefore Barack Obama and company were behind it. Now, if you look at Iran, where people have been protesting and not much is coming through on that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: So basically what you\u2019re saying is Obama\u2019s hands-off in Iran, he\u2019s supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, so what are you saying?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I\u2019m saying that Iran is already a fundamentalist theocracy. Therefore we do nothing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Where in Egypt it is not, it\u2019s more of a secular state.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Therefore we wish to sow discord. Look what happened in Iran way back when the Shah was there. We destabilized it. Although it took years, we now have a fundamentalist theocracy which many say is funding terrorism across the globe.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s going to happen in Egypt.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So we have a fundamentalist theocracy that Obama doesn\u2019t want to displace, and now —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Now we have discord in —<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s what you\u2019re saying, leave Iran alone, when we have a chance —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — to support the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, which they\u2019re certainly closer to their allies in Iran than they are in Egypt and Obama is saying, “Oh, yeah, let\u2019s get rid of Mubarak and let\u2019s put our Muslim Brotherhood buddies in charge.” So you\u2019re saying that Obama has sympathies here to the Iranian mullahs?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s my belief. (crosstalk) — believes that he is a Muslim. Yet if you look at how strongly we support Palestine and how we turn our backs any time that Israeli is attacked like most recently when Palestinians went in and literally cut the throats of Israeli settlers, very little is being made of that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, so you believe that Obama, you fear that Obama wants an Iranian caliphate?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I believe that caliphate is resurgent across the Middle East. Now we have Yemen, we have Bahrain, so, yes, I do believe that he basically —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, it took me awhile to drag it out of you. It sounds crazy. Is there any evidence against it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, we actually have organizations here in the US which support that. After 9\/11 we actually had commissions that investigated it, the Holy Land Foundation and all those, people were found to be complicit in funneling money there.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I find this incredible. You\u2019re in Whitefish, Montana.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You have a genuine fear that the president of the United States has sympathies with militant Islamists?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I would say that the evidence would point to that and suggest that. Again, I\u2019m just another working-class bum that just reads as much as I can, searches online —<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I understand. (crosstalk)<\/p>\n

CALLER: — help from the left-wing media. <\/p>\n

RUSH: I understand. You sound a little bit more informed on the Muslim Brotherhood than does our intelligence director, Mr. Crapper — Clapper. You do seem to know more about it than he does. (interruption) Well, I don\u2019t know if there are any facts to disprove what he\u2019s saying. I was asking him if he has any facts to disprove, \u2019cause he\u2019s obviously studied it greatly. He\u2019s sufficiently informed to call the program and discuss it. He did lay it out pretty effectively. I had to drag it out of him. I could tell he was a little afraid of saying so. It\u2019s a strange thing for an American citizen to think. No question about it. <\/p>\n

Ned in Plymouth, Indiana, you\u2019re next on the Rush Limbaugh program. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Mr. Limbaugh. How you doing, sir?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Very well, sir. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, the point I have to make might go to ease the statement of the last caller, but mine\u2019s with personal experience. I lived in Saudi Arabia between the years \u201996 and \u201999, and again in 2003-2004 in which I was between the ages of 8 and 13 and which —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute, now. Were you there with your parents or were you a child slave?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Both. I was there with my parents. My dad is an F-15 simulator instructor so he was over there through Boeing working with the Saudis on —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Gotcha.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And while I was there, I was obviously —<\/p>\n

RUSH: This caller, ladies and gentlemen, has more experience in world affairs than President Obama.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Anyway, I got a pretty good background on the types of people, on the individuals that were my age and, you know, peers older than that, and I\u2019d say in their teens to the late twenties, and the Arab culture locally, the community imports their labor so the youth and the young adults don\u2019t work. They spend their time going to malls, hanging out, you know, doing whatever, in which case their mentality is very much similar to I\u2019d say not the urban but the low-income neighborhoods of say here in the United States.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are they low income?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Over there they\u2019re low — well, it\u2019s not an income. Their mentality that they build up because of how their society is structured, versus how the local community —<\/p>\n

RUSH: So what you\u2019re saying is the Saudis have to import labor because their young people don\u2019t work, they just go to the mall?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, right, the Saudis, they import their labor, in which case that causes a culture of the young community to spend their time hanging out, in which case they\u2019d go out and raise hell and do whatever they want, and the young men, obviously, you know, the women don\u2019t have any rights over there, so they\u2019re obviously superior, and so when you see on the TV, you know, they\u2019re just sitting there yelling for a cause, and to go to the point of what the previous caller was saying is just like the poor people, the single moms, the underdeveloped communities here go to support the Democrat Party —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, what is your point?<\/p>\n

CALLER: My point is that the Arab community imports their labor.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay? So the people that we see in the streets in the Middle East rising up and raising hell and we see on the TV, “Oh, they want democracy. They want freedom. They\u2019re up there risking their lives.” No, they\u2019re out there to get on the camera, many of them. And mingled in with I\u2019m sure The Brotherhood, but it\u2019s not what we\u2019re being subjected to here in the United States.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. All right. Ned, thanks for the call. He lives in Plymouth, Indiana. I appreciate it. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: What Ned\u2019s point was (what I think he was trying to get to) is that all of the rabble-rousing young Arab men that you see on television — be it in Egypt or maybe Libya — they\u2019re just bored, young Arab men who got nothing to do. Saudi Arabia imports their labor, these guys got nothing to do, and they just hunker down and love to get on television. They just love to go throw rocks. “They may not be affiliated with anything,” is his point, right? They have no affiliation to anything at all. They\u2019re just trying to get themselves on TV. So it may not be accurate to say that every big time movement you see on TV is made up of ideologues committed to it. It could be just a bunch of young guys saying, “Hey, look at me! I\u2019m on TV,” which we know exists here. It\u2019s called the Jerry Springer show and American Idol. E! Entertainment, MTV, you name it. We have our own vehicles here for people who want to get on television.<\/p>\n
