CALLER: How you doing, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Very good. Thanks.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good. I\u2019ve been listening to you for two years now, and I\u2019m so happy that you\u2019re on the radio. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well!<\/p>\n

CALLER: I found you and everything.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, congratulations to you, sir. Thank you. You made my day. I appreciate it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, man, I just want to tell you one more thing before I go on. I work at a golf range so any time you come to Cleveland, you just come to my golf range and you can have as many balls as you want.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) All right. What\u2019s the name of…? Go ahead. What\u2019s the name of range?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, it\u2019s called Southwest Golf Center.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Southwest Golf Center, in Cleveland.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. In Cleveland, Ohio.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Indoors and outdoors?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s outdoors, all outdoors.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Outdoors. Well, you can\u2019t have everything.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. (chuckles) Okay, I just wanted to comment on something you said — I don\u2019t know if you were talking about it Monday or Tuesday — about how Joe Bite Me was talking about how he locked up a reporter in the closet. Wouldn\u2019t he get in trouble like that? Like wouldn\u2019t he be going to jail for that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it was his staff. I\u2019m sure that Vice President Bite Me had what\u2019s called “plausible deniability,” meaning he had no clue, which is not hard to convince people that he\u2019s clueless. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What happened was his staff did it. There was this lone reporter, and they send the guy into custodial closet inside this guy\u2019s mansion \u2019cause they did not want him mingling with the guests. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh huh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They didn\u2019t want the guests to meet this riffraff reporter. Let me tell you, Tanner, the story here is the reporter was not upset. The reporter for the most part understood it. He said, “Ah, people are making way too much over this, about this. It\u2019s not that big a deal. They let me out now and then. They just didn\u2019t want me mingling with the guests.” Can you imagine if the vice president had been Dick Cheney and this had happened? I mean every journalist organization in the world would be banding together. It would have been the sole topic on CNN, MSNBC, for who knows how long. But, nah, it\u2019s not actionable against the Vice President. You have to wonder: People pay whatever they paid to get in there. Would they rather have talked to the reporter or listened to Biden? It\u2019s a toss-up. But they never got a chance to meet the reporter.<\/p>\n
