I submit that you\u2019re right more than anyone presently in our society. I agree with you for most everything that you talk about, all the subjects you talk about.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Uh-oh.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I agree with Eddie, your caller from the Bronx as well. I think Obama\u2019s a liar and I think, you know, most conservatives are just tired of hearing his voice.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (pause) Why are you providing cover for John Boehner? It seems like we need a leader. We don\u2019t like &#8220;a nice man.&#8221; You called him &#8220;a nice man&#8221; last week.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: He was &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: We don\u2019t need &#8220;nice&#8221; men. We need men!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, I agree. I agree. He\u2019s a commie bastard creep.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No, no, no, no. I\u2019m not inferring (sic) that. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: What I\u2019m saying is, we don\u2019t have time for nice men.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: No, I understand. He was being berated personally in my e-mail. I probably should have read some of the e-mails. Some of the people just really launching into the guy; a couple of phone calls did, too &#8212; <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; and what I said was he\u2019s a fine guy. As a human being, he\u2019s a fine guy, and then I made the mistake of saying I played golf with him!<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughs)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That opened the floodgates. When I said I\u2019d played golf with him, they said, &#8220;Oh, gosh! That\u2019s all it takes now to own Limbaugh: Play golf with him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, when you\u2019re out playing golf with him again why don\u2019t you just mention to him that there\u2019s a conservative voice out here in the country that would like for him to be a little bit more aggressive than just being a nice man.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: How do you know that I haven\u2019t?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, I don\u2019t know that.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I know.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: But, if you have, reiterate it. If you would, please. Going back to Sarah Palin\u2019s comment, I mean she was directing those comments to the GOP leadership.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I know, but what kinda puzzled me about this was that last week, after all that stuff came down, the comment about Boehner being a fine guy was after I had taken him to the woodshed, too! <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (chuckles)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: But he\u2019s his own man. He\u2019s not somebody that is a sponge that doesn\u2019t know what he thinks and is waiting for what everybody else thinks, to hear what everybody else thinks before he knows what to do. He does have a mind of his own. There may be some people that have been harder on Boehner than I have been, but I have in no way given him a pass on what has happened up there. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, the point I\u2019m trying to emphasize is the conservative-thinking people in this country don\u2019t want nice politicians any longer. We want hardcore men, like the hardcore men that defeated the Nazi. It took hardcore men to defeat the Japanese.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Japanese, yes.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: The Japanese on &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: &#8212; on the cave on Mount Suribachi.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It takes some hardcore men, not just namby-pamby guys like Adam from Indiana. You know, we need to take these guys: The liberals the Democrats, the Republican-in-name-only types.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125114.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright\"\/>RUSH: I know, and just last week I was lamenting the fact that these guys just don\u2019t have it in \u2019em, that here we are in 2011, and a lot of them seem to be stuck back in the year 2000. They just don\u2019t have whatever you want to call it. The confrontational gene, the hand-to-hand fighting, they just don\u2019t seem to have that kind of fire in their belly. They want to prevail, but they don\u2019t want to upset a lot of it applecarts along the way for whatever reason.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Isn\u2019t that sad, though? There\u2019s more women with backbone &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s something else&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: &#8212; in DC than there are so-called men.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s something else that I have pointed out, that the gonads on our side happen to be wearing skirts. It\u2019s very obvious. My only&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: In my humble opinion it shouldn\u2019t be that way, but if it has to be that way, then it should be that way.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Be thankful for what you get.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yep.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I mean, it is what it is. I think that&#8230; I\u2019ve even mentioned on this program &#8212; I haven\u2019t mentioned any names, but &#8212; some freshmen are already dispirited \u2019cause of what they\u2019ve run into. They showed up loaded for bear. I talked about the some of the freshmen in \u201994, too, how after two years of frustration they quit. In fact, they were dealing with true revolutionaries, and even they back then got a little bit unhappy with the way Newt and the boys were handling things. Nobody\u2019s gonna always be happy. But my reference to Boehner being &#8220;a nice guy&#8221; had nothing to do with the way he\u2019s handling himself in this.
