First of all, I want to tell you I remember last week when the first-time unemployment applications came out it was 414,000. And you said that Thursday that it\u2019s going to go up. Next we\u2019re going to be revised to at least 470, 480. I told my friends, &#8220;I will hold Rush accountable,&#8221; and here we go: It\u2019s up to 420,000.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: They always do that. You can always count on it that they\u2019ll revise the original numbers up. It always happens.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Anyway, boss, I have two questions. First of all, I just want to know what you think: Why is Grenada by Reagan different than Libya by Obama? Why did Reagan have to invade Grenada and Obama should stay out of Libya?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, Grenada took a couple of hours. Grenada was being overrun a communist regime. It had allies in this country. Ron Dellums (his nickname was Ron &#8220;Red&#8221; Dellums from Oakland) was a member of Congress at the time. He\u2019s now, I think, mayor of Oakland or is former mayor of Oakland. But there were Americans going to school in Grenada and they were in the process of being caught up in a near coup by communist country, and Reagan said, &#8220;No, I\u2019m not gonna put up with this.&#8221; This is not far removed from what was going on in Nicaragua with the Sandanistas and the Contras. There really isn\u2019t a whole bunch of similarities. The analogy here between Grenada and Libya doesn\u2019t hold up that much. The reason that we\u2019re going into Libya is not to oppose communism.
