RUSH: On this Redskins business. They surveyed 504 Native American, Indians.\u00a0 Ninety percent of \u2019em said: We don\u2019t care.\u00a0 Washington Redskins doesn\u2019t affect us, doesn\u2019t mean diddly-squat. We don\u2019t care.\u00a0 So the Drive-Bys are not happy.\u00a0 The Sports Drive-Bys are not happy, and the sports Drive-Bys (I won\u2019t mention any names) are out there lecturing Native Americans on how they should care, and they\u2019re lecturing everybody else on how they should care.\u00a0 And you know what one of the latest approaches is?<\/p>\n

This is so telling. It is so… I can\u2019t remember when it was, but it\u2019s in the early nineties — it might even be the late eighties — where I, on this program, officially recognized the new left-wing interest group called “The,” capital T, “Offended,” capital O.\u00a0 I had observed that The Offended were able to get whatever they wanted even if there was only one of them.\u00a0 The Offended.\u00a0 And have I not been right?\u00a0 How much are we doing?\u00a0 How much are we turning our own culture upside down to appease The Offended?<\/p>\n

Okay, so many in the Sports Drive-Bys, after digesting — and not all of them, by the way.\u00a0 One Sports Drive-By at the Washington Post said, “Okay. All right. I get it. I\u2019m officially out of it. I don\u2019t care anymore.\u00a0 Dan Snyder, keep your team name.\u00a0 I\u2019m done.”\u00a0 That guy\u2019s being roasted by other Drive-Bys.\u00a0 He\u2019s a Washington Post reporter.\u00a0 But the way it\u2019s going now is, “Okay, fine, 90% of Native Americans say it\u2019s no big deal.\u00a0 But what about the 10% who say they are offended?\u00a0 What about them?\u00a0 What are we supposed to do with them?”<\/p>\n

Of course, the answer is: “Get rid of the name!”<\/p>\n

Then you come back: “What about majority rule?\u00a0 This is why we cannot have majority rule.\u00a0 This is because the majority is a bunch of racist, bigot people who tyrannize minorities. That\u2019s precisely why we can\u2019t have — and that\u2019s the basis on which Obama and the left are trying to throw upside down every aspect of American culture.\u00a0 What do you think the population of transgenders in this country is?\u00a0 Less than one-tenth of 1%.\u00a0 What are we doing?\u00a0 We\u2019re overturning centuries of law.<\/p>\n

Gay marriage?\u00a0 What do you think the percentage of gays who want to get married in this country is?\u00a0 I guarantee you it is a very tiny minority.\u00a0 What are we doing?\u00a0 We\u2019re turning everything upside down because they\u2019re offended. They\u2019re bothered.\u00a0 It illustrates the injustice of the very founding of this country.\u00a0 “Majority white…” That\u2019s crucial: “Majority white people set up all these rules, and the minorities ended up getting the shaft or getting screwed or what have you.”\u00a0 It\u2019s on that basis that we are turning everything upside down.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Yet a lot of people… (interruption) Yeah, I know we have a republican form of government, representative, constitutional representative republic.\u00a0 We do not have a straight democracy.\u00a0 True.\u00a0 But in so many things, majority rules is how you determine the outcome of things.\u00a0 Where there is a vote.\u00a0 Majority rules.\u00a0 Why else have the vote if the majority doesn\u2019t?\u00a0 But the way it\u2019s going now, you have the vote and the minority rules.\u00a0 If the minority consists of liberals or if the minority consists of liberal causes, then everything\u2019s gonna be thrown upside down to appease The Offended.<\/p>\n

The Offended have transformed themselves now.<\/p>\n
