CALLER:\u00a0 I\u2019m honored to speak with you.\u00a0 You know, when James Comey was explaining how some of those emails had fallen into the hands of adversarial countries —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Possibly.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Possibly.\u00a0 The word “ISIS” popped into my mind, and then I was covered in sweat, because that is how this country can be in so much trouble if, God forbid, those emails have fallen into the hands of ISIS and Al-Qaeda.\u00a0 And, you know, those emails, who knows what she had on them.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Hey, before you even get to ISIS and Al-Qaeda, you better be thinking of people like Vladimir Putin. Not to exclude ISIS and Al-Qaeda as relevant, but they don\u2019t need intel to do what they\u2019re doing.\u00a0 But somebody like Putin who runs a major state in direct competition with us, I\u2019ll tell you, this is so, so potentially damaging here.\u00a0 Look, Mario, it\u2019s a great point you\u2019ve made.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Let me see if I can say something cogently here.\u00a0 This would be under the category of things that trouble me.\u00a0 We just had a call, Mario from Deerfield Beach, Florida, and he was talking about the fact that Hillary\u2019s email server was wide open, that Comey alluded to the fact that, quote, unquote, hostile actors may have had access to it.\u00a0 There\u2019s no question.<\/p>\n

Folks, I don\u2019t think — and I really want to be wrong about this — but I purposely expose myself to things that young people are doing.\u00a0 I read the media they read.\u00a0 I try to watch some of the stuff, I can\u2019t handle much of it that they watch, but I vowed I\u2019m not gonna become one these old fuddy-duddies, one these get-off-my-yard old guys looking down on young people as a bunch of inexperienced brats that have no business being listened to.\u00a0 And I do it because I\u2019m interested in their political outlook on things, \u2019cause I think that happens to matter.<\/p>\n

So in the case of Hillary Clinton\u2019s emails and whatever they contained, and a lot of it was classified, a lot of it was top secret.\u00a0 That\u2019s why any of this matters and the fact that you could have ISIS, you could have ISIL, you could have had Al-Qaeda, Vladimir Putin, the ChiComs hacking.\u00a0 We know that she was hacked.\u00a0 We\u2019ve had people bragging about it.\u00a0 But this is what people do.\u00a0 The Chinese are trying to hack the DOJ every day.\u00a0 The Chinese are trying to hack the Pentagon every day.\u00a0 It\u2019s the way nations do business.\u00a0 And I don\u2019t know that young people are even aware of this.\u00a0 I mean, can you blame \u2019em?<\/p>\n

Every ISIS terror attack, what are they told?\u00a0 It\u2019s the gun\u2019s fault.\u00a0 It\u2019s never the fault of the perpetrators or it\u2019s the Tea Party, or it\u2019s the Republicans, or it\u2019s the Second Amendment.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know how aware a lot of Americans are of just how intense intelligence gathering by our enemies is.\u00a0 In fact, I\u2019m not even sure how aware certain Americans are that we even have enemies.\u00a0 I am really concerned that a lot of Americans think the biggest enemy that we have is the Republican Party.\u00a0 And I\u2019m not trying to be funny and I\u2019m not trying to be outrageous and I\u2019m not trying to be extreme to get your attention.<\/p>\n

This is what they hear.\u00a0 It\u2019s what they see repeated on Facebook.\u00a0 It\u2019s what they see tweeted out every day.\u00a0 It\u2019s what they see their Hollywood heroes say.\u00a0 It\u2019s what they hear people they look up to, their Democrat heroes say.\u00a0 It\u2019s always the Tea Party\u2019s fault. It\u2019s always the Republicans\u2019 fault.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know that they\u2019re even aware that the Chinese view us as an enemy.\u00a0 They think Al-Qaeda and ISIS do, but they don\u2019t know why.\u00a0 They just think it\u2019s extreme terrorism, but you couldn\u2019t blame \u2019em if they thought Al-Qaeda attacked us because George W. Bush took pictures at Abu Ghraib or put prisoners in Club Gitmo.\u00a0 I mean, this is what they were told.<\/p>\n

So that aspect of Mrs. Clinton\u2019s behavior here may not have any impact on, I shudder to think, how many millions of Americans.\u00a0 And therefore the real danger posed by her negligence and her incompetence may totally escape people, particularly those who have been conditioned by their teachers and their professors to think that the real problem in this world is the United States and its racism, its sexism, it\u2019s homophobia, it\u2019s mistreatment of transgenders in the bathrooms, the way it wouldn\u2019t let gay people get married for all these years, slavery, that\u2019s the kind of stuff that concerns me.<\/p>\n

You got the Democrat Party out there promoting this and amplifying this as often as they can, that the United States of America is the problem.\u00a0 It\u2019s gotten so bad that when we are hit, there are a lot of Americans who think we deserve it, that we caused it because of our behavior as a nation all these years.\u00a0 I think it is that bad.\u00a0 I shudder to think how many millions think it, I don\u2019t know, but I\u2019m worried about it.\u00a0 It concerns me greatly.<\/p>\n

So when people begin talking about the danger posed by Hillary Clinton\u2019s behavior, her lack of competence, her lack of concern, I don\u2019t know if that hits.\u00a0 Now, here\u2019s something that, you know, I talked about Trump earlier, and I\u2019m admittedly a little concerned here that regardless what we think of the legal system and its lack of doing its duty here with Mrs. Clinton, nevertheless you take opportunity wherever you find it.\u00a0 Comey did detail for everybody, he detailed explicitly her lying, her prevarications, her incompetence, how she put the nation at risk, how she exposed national secrets and all this.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
