RUSH:\u00a0 Bernie Sanders supporters all over Philadelphia are chanting, “Lock her up!”<\/a>\u00a0 Anti-Hillary protests all over the Democrat Party.\u00a0 Now, keep in mind we were supposed to get all of that at the Republican convention, too.\u00a0 There were supposed to be more anti-Trump protests, anti-Republican protests there. You were gonna have Black Lives Matter, New Black Panther Party, Media Matters. Anybody George Soros could buy, they were gonna flood Cleveland! “They\u2019re gonna swarm Cleveland, gonna shut it down! They\u2019re gonna shut down the convention.”<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n

People are wondering why.<\/p>\n

Was it the strong show of police that kept people at bay?\u00a0 Nah.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think that\u2019s it. \u00a0I think what happened is, for some reason, whoever pays for that decided to withhold funding.\u00a0 George Soros is a primary funding source for all of this radical, militant protest, human debris out there, and they were told for whatever reason to stay away. \u00a0Don\u2019t know why.\u00a0 Maybe the money was withheld.\u00a0 Because it\u2019s not because the protestors weren\u2019t geared up.\u00a0 I mean, they\u2019re ready to go any day of the week, particularly after you pay \u2019em, which all these Democrat protestors are.<\/p>\n

But they were able to be kept at bay by somebody.\u00a0 Now, some people have speculated, “No, no, Rush. It was that huge contingent of police, uniformed police.\u00a0 It was a massive intimidating thing that the protestors just didn\u2019t want any part of.”\u00a0 Maybe.\u00a0 I mean, I would love for that to be one of the reasons, but I think there were strategic tactical reasons why they were withheld, and maybe we\u2019ll find out in due course.\u00a0 But the Democrat protests are happening.<\/p>\n

And in fact, in one protest near City Hall in Philadelphia… You know, I\u2019ve made this point constantly.\u00a0 Here\u2019s a Democrat carrying a sign, a bunch of Bernie supporters: “America Was NEVER Great.\u00a0 We Need to OVERTHROW This System.”\u00a0 That says it all: “America was never great.”\u00a0 That\u2019s exactly who these leftists are. It\u2019s exactly who many in the Democrat Party are: “America was never great.\u00a0 There is no American exceptionalism.\u00a0 We don\u2019t like this country from the days of the founding in any way.”\u00a0 That\u2019s who they are, folks.<\/p>\n
