An hour and a half before the Sunday debate, Donald Trump did something that probably shocked the Republican consultant class more than his using the “P” word eleven years ago. He held a media event, surrounded by women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct. Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broaddrick sat with Trump, who didn\u2019t speak much.<\/p>\n

Kathy Shelton was also there. At age 12, she was raped by a hardened criminal. Hillary Clinton, then a young lawyer, represented the convict, and basically blamed the 12-year-old victim for getting raped. Hillary claimed the child “fantasized” about older men. The rapist got a light sentence; Hillary later laughed about the case.<\/p>\n

Juanita Broaddrick, who accused Bill Clinton of raping her in 1978,  explained why she chose to attend the event: “Mr. Trump may have said some bad words, but Bill Clinton raped me and Hillary Clinton threatened me.”<\/p>\n

Long after this election cycle is over, historians, political scientists, and other professional political analysts will study all the elements that made this particular contest so unique.<\/p>\n

One thing many in the Republican base find exceptional, is that Donald Trump doesn\u2019t back down from the fight. Even after the Drive-By Media whacks him with everything they\u2019ve got, he keeps fighting and even double downs even! When some Republicans run to the cameras to announce they\u2019re “un-endorsing” him, Trump keeps fighting. Despite the odds, he does not tuck tail and run.<\/p>\n
