You could go to anywhere and the reaction is identical.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Is there not one human being in journalism today that has an independent thought about anything?&nbsp; Is there not a one of them paying attention to what\u2019s actually happening in this country and in this campaign?&nbsp; Is there not a one of them that understands why Donald Trump is the nominee?&nbsp; Is there not one of them that understands why he hasn\u2019t lost the election yet?&nbsp; Is there not one of them, is there not a single person who has been paying attention since last June when Trump entered the race?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/videos\/player\/43265\/73675?id=4255636\" width=\"585\" height=\"317\"><\/iframe>Is there not a single person in the Drive-By Media anywhere that hasn\u2019t figured out who Trump is, what he does, and why he does it?&nbsp; Is there not a single person yet who has figured out that the way they measure the performance of politicians doesn\u2019t apply to Donald Trump?&nbsp; We only have over a year\u2019s worth of evidence.&nbsp; Every one of them!&nbsp; I don\u2019t care who you talk to, it doesn\u2019t matter who you read, it doesn\u2019t matter who you listen to, Trump lost the debate last night.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wait a minute.&nbsp; I thought Trump lost the debate weeks ago.&nbsp; I thought Trump lost the debate in the first debate.&nbsp; I thought Trump lost the debate when he came down the escalator at Trump Tower announcing his candidacy.&nbsp; From the get-go, this guy has never had a chance.&nbsp; Every time he\u2019s opened his mouth, they, almost in unison, have said, &#8220;That\u2019s it, he\u2019s finished, it\u2019s embarrassing, it\u2019s over.&#8221;&nbsp; They\u2019re acting like last night Trump was winning. In order for them to have any credibility with what they\u2019re saying about Trump\u2019s debate performance last night, you have to believe that they thought Trump was on the way to winning last night, but last night he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with one ill-timed comment that they\u2019re not even getting right.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re not even properly characterizing what Trump said in response to Chris Wallace\u2019s question.&nbsp; And you want some further irony on this?&nbsp; Let me give you the ultimate irony.&nbsp; So now we have everybody in the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House and everybody in Drive-By journalism claiming that Trump is putting at risk the very foundations of our democracy and our republic and our country.&nbsp; Donald Trump last night putting at risk the very existence of the United States and our transition-of-power tradition, da-da, da-da, da-da.&nbsp; And why?&nbsp; Well, because he will not concede defeat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_129273\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/TrumpBoxer-America-Great.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">They wanted Donald Trump to concede defeat just like they wanted the Republicans to take impeachment off the table, which they did, last night, everybody wanted Trump to admit that he had lost the election last night.&nbsp; That\u2019s what they were going for.&nbsp; That\u2019s what they wanted today.&nbsp; That question Chris Wallace asked, &#8220;Mr. Trump, will you pledge to accept the result?&#8221;&nbsp; &#8220;No, no.&nbsp; Why should I?&#8221;&nbsp; If he would have accepted, if he would have announced last night that he was gonna accept the results, the story today would be: &#8220;Trump conceded defeat last night.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the real point.&nbsp; Trump did what he had to do.&nbsp; Trump\u2019s whole reason for running is wrapped up in his answer to that question last night.&nbsp; This is what I mean when I ask, do they not understand why the guy\u2019s running?&nbsp; Do they not understand why the guy\u2019s got support?&nbsp; Do they not understand why millions and millions of Americans have invested in Trump to the point that they don\u2019t care about traditional political faux pas and they still hang with the guy?&nbsp; Do they not understand why? To this moment do they not understand why, or are they in unison somehow, all of them ignoring what they all know and trying to position this as something other than what it is?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If Trump would have answered that question, &#8220;Yeah, sure, whatever happens, I\u2019m cool with it,&#8221; his supporters would have been deflated, and that might have been the moment when some of them began to desert him.&nbsp; He had no choice.&nbsp; But I don\u2019t even think he consciously thought it was a choice.&nbsp; He was instinctively answering the question, and his answer is exactly why he\u2019s in this race.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s trying to wrest control of the country and the government from an elite cabal of establishment types who are trying desperately to hold on to it with everything they\u2019ve got.&nbsp; It is a real fight.&nbsp; It is a real brawl.&nbsp; And Donald Trump got into it specifically knowing why and what he was doing.&nbsp; And for him to announce last night, &#8220;Oh, yeah, yeah, whatever you guys end up doing with this election, sure I\u2019ll accept, I\u2019ll announce right now that I accept it.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GQtu1VsH_0s\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the irony I was referring to earlier.&nbsp; I haven\u2019t heard anybody say this.&nbsp; What are the Democrats saying?&nbsp; You talk to Donna Brazile last night about the emails that prove that she was passing questions on to Hillary.&nbsp;(imitating Brazile) &#8220;Those are stolen emails!&nbsp; Those are emails delivered by criminals.&nbsp; I know what it is to be persecuted.&nbsp; I\u2019m a Christian woman.&nbsp; You pick that stuff out of the gutter.&nbsp; I\u2019m not answering it.&#8221;&nbsp; And virtually every explanation for what we are learning in the WikiLeaks document dump, they don\u2019t deny anything.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What do they say?&nbsp; The Russians are trying to rig our elections.&nbsp; The Democrats are the ones caterwauling and whining and moaning about rigged elections every day.&nbsp; WikiLeaks, the Russians, Mrs. Clinton at the debate last night, &#8220;I have never seen anything like this in American politics, where a foreign government is attempting to sabotage our election,&#8221; dumping on the Russians for what?&nbsp; Trying to rig the election.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So Trump says, &#8220;No.&nbsp; I\u2019m gonna keep my options open.&nbsp; I don\u2019t know what\u2019s gonna happen.&#8221;&nbsp; The only sensible answer there is to that question the Democrats, the whole debate, prior to the debate, whining and moaning about rigged elections \u2019cause the Russians are trying to screw \u2019em because the Russians are releasing emails that Podesta sent to everybody under the sun, so the Russians are what?&nbsp; Trying to cheat.&nbsp; Who is it that\u2019s alleging rigged elections?&nbsp; Who is it that\u2019s trying to defuse the truth coming out about them by blaming it on the Russians trying to rig elections?&nbsp; It\u2019s our good buddies and good friends the Democrats and their fellows in journalism.&nbsp; I mean, it\u2019s breathtaking to behold all of this.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_129277\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Trump-Debate-101816_-Wallace.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">I think, given who Trump is and where he is and why he\u2019s where he is and what he hopes to do, I\u2019m gonna tell you something.&nbsp; I thought prior to this question he blew so many opportunities again.&nbsp; I was telling Snerdley this morning, Good Lord, she sent so many slow pitch softballs right over the plate about his economic plan, about Obama\u2019s economic plan, about so many things, and his political instincts just are not there.&nbsp; He didn\u2019t realize what he had.&nbsp; It\u2019s not that he blew it, it\u2019s that, man, it could have been so much better and it could have been so much different.&nbsp; He had the chance to bury her last night by throwing her own words right back at her.&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>Well, one example was when she was going on and on and on about the economy and her economic plan and how she and Obama inherited the absolute worst economy in the history of economies back in 2008 and then she mentions all these experts who have looked at her plan and said that her plan\u2019s not gonna add a single dollar to the national debt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, we only have a $20 trillion national debt because she and Obama have been running the show.&nbsp; And she goes on and on about how we just need to stay the course because we\u2019ve gotta &#8212; and all you had to say, &#8220;You mean like we\u2019ve been doing the last eight years?&#8221;&nbsp; He just didn\u2019t connect on things like that.&nbsp; Supreme Court halfway decent, he ended up doing pretty well because he mentioned the Constitution. We\u2019re gonna dissect her answer.&nbsp; Her answer on the Supreme Court question last night was absolutely disqualifying, if you ask me, since we\u2019re talking about who\u2019s qualified and who\u2019s not.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But I\u2019m telling you, this question about accepting the results, thank goodness he kept to his instincts on that because that\u2019s the reason he\u2019s running.&nbsp; That is the reason for his campaign wrapped up in one question and answer.&nbsp; Oh, yeah, we\u2019ll get into all the stuff about Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004 and all the evidence we have had of the Democrats alleging cheating, alleging vote fraud, and engaging in it.&nbsp; That\u2019s why this is so absurd, folks.&nbsp; The Department of Justice just announced that they\u2019re gonna have a certain number of poll watchers on Election Day.&nbsp; Why?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Why do we have to have election observers?&nbsp; If everything\u2019s on the up and up and if there isn\u2019t any cheating and if there isn\u2019t any fraud, why do we need to have election observers?&nbsp; And Obama brings in some from the U.N. to boot.&nbsp; So the Democrat Party and Hillary Clinton whine and moan like stuck pigs that the Russians are trying to steal the election from them, that the Russians are interceding in our elections, the Russians are doing this and the Russians are doing that and it\u2019s unprecedented, never before has a foreign country tried to impose itself on our &#8212; they\u2019re accusing and whining and moaning about election fraud.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hPSrC8i-YcU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll tell you what, if Trump wins this, do you think they\u2019re gonna docilely sit by and accept the results and start conceding all over the place?&nbsp; You think they\u2019re gonna sit by and just accept it?&nbsp; Did they accept it in 2000?&nbsp; Gore conceded in 2000, then he withdrew the concession and ended up not conceding until December.&nbsp; But these are the people worried about the fine traditions of our congressional Republican representative republic and democracy and all this.&nbsp; The hypocrisy on this, it\u2019s really getting to be a lot to swallow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s just overwhelming how many &#8212; we\u2019re talking hundreds of people, when you add up all these people in the media, who spout the exact same thought.&nbsp; I\u2019d be embarrassed.&nbsp; I\u2019d be embarrassed if I were somebody in the media and I were saying something identical, almost word-for-word that everybody else is saying.&nbsp; I\u2019d be saying, &#8220;I guess they don\u2019t need me.&nbsp; I sound just like everybody else.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, folks, interested in your take on this as well.&nbsp; You know, there\u2019s a poll out, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.investors.com\/politics\/ibd-tipp-poll\/trump-holds-on-to-1-point-lead-as-debate-sparks-fly\/\">Investor\u2019s Business Daily\/TIPP poll<\/a>, and this poll happens to be the poll that got it right in 2012.&nbsp; This is the poll that called the Obama victory by 3.8 points, and that\u2019s exactly what it turned out to be, and in this poll, Trump is leading Clinton, this was ahead of the debate last night, and here\u2019s their story.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After more than a week of blistering attacks from Democrats, celebrities and the press, Donald Trump has managed to pull ahead of Hillary Clinton by a 1.3 percentage point margin &#8212; 41.3% to 40% &#8212; in a four-way matchup. &#8230; The IBD\/TIPP tracking poll has been cited as the most accurate in predicting actual election results in the past three presidential elections.&#8221;&nbsp; In 2004, 2008 IBD\/TIPP had the smallest deviation from the certified results and across the last three presidential races IBD\/TIPP has the lowest average divergence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the 2012 race, polling analyst Nate Silver, then of the New York Times\u2019, ranked 23 presidential polling organizations using his own methodology and called IBD\/TIPP the most accurate tracking poll for the year.&#8221; &nbsp;Well, if Nate Silver says it, then that\u2019s biblical from the people on the left. And they\u2019ve got Trump up by one before the debate last night, and if you listen if all these media people, they all say Trump won.&nbsp; They say Trump was off to the races, he won, oh, man, he was kicking butt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/daily\/2016\/10\/19\/final_debate_takes_place_amid_drive_by_media_narrative_that_the_race_is_over\"><img id=\"eZObject_129272\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/HillaryTrumpFinal-Debate.jpg\"\/><\/a>Remember, I\u2019m watching the post-debate analysis, and I\u2019m a little bit shocked, \u2019cause no matter where I turn, they\u2019re all saying &#8212; there\u2019s some outliers on CNN &#8212; but for the most part, the consensus is that Trump had the best debate ever, best night.&nbsp; And he blew it, he blew the election that one answer, it was gone. I thought actually maybe I had missed two or three weeks of the campaign \u2019cause these guys were acting like Trump was actually gonna win the election last night until he answered that fateful question from Chris Wallace, and then he blew it all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So they\u2019ve been telling us he\u2019s not got a prayer, he\u2019s gonna lose in a landslide double digits, it\u2019s over.&nbsp; And then last night he has this question that he answers in a way they don\u2019t think is proper and it\u2019s, &#8220;Well, he\u2019s blown it now, that\u2019s it, Donald Trump.&#8221;&nbsp; Was he leading?&nbsp; Was he cruising to victory and then that one answer has shattered everything?&nbsp; It\u2019s the way these people think.&nbsp; Trump\u2019s supporters were standing up and cheering at that answer.&nbsp; &#8220;Well, that\u2019s right, Mr. Limbaugh, but what about the fact that Trump needed to reached out to independents and needed to broaden his base?&nbsp; Of course his supporters are gonna applaud anything he does. They\u2019re robots themselves, but what about broadening his base?&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You know, you people had better learn to ask yourself, this country\u2019s not going in the right direction, and a majority of people think so, or don\u2019t think so, and Hillary Clinton\u2019s not seen as a solution to anything.&nbsp; If it weren\u2019t for the fact that she were married to Bill Clinton, nobody would know who Hillary Clinton is today.&nbsp; She wouldn\u2019t be anything.&nbsp; And by that I mean she\u2019s demonstrated nothing in her life that would overwhelmingly qualify her to be president.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH:&nbsp;Good grief, it\u2019s worse than I thought.&nbsp;
