Let\u2019s say Medicare plus. It\u2019d be essentially everybody can buy into Medicare, for example. Transitioning a system is a very difficult and costly and lengthy enterprise.&nbsp; It\u2019s not like you can turn on a switch and you go from one system to another.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_129567\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/ObamacareSinglePayerPIX.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">RUSH:&nbsp; So here you have multiple interviews and experiences in 2007 explaining how his proposal would be an interim step.&nbsp; He can\u2019t do it all at once, can\u2019t go all-in, \u2019cause politically people wouldn\u2019t accept it. You can\u2019t go from where we were to single-payer overnight.&nbsp; He was warning his supporters: &#8220;Be patient with me.&nbsp; It\u2019s going to take time.&#8221;&nbsp; Keep in mind, he is not knowledgeable on health care or health insurance at all.&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s a wonk.&nbsp; He has never been in the health care industry or the insurance industry in his life &#8212; he doesn\u2019t know a thing about it &#8212; and yet he presumes to know better than anybody how to reform it, how to make it work. But everything to him about it is political.&nbsp; Here is another montage of Obama.&nbsp; This is March 2007 to a different group of people.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA MARCH 24, 2007: I don\u2019t think we\u2019re gonna be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately.&nbsp; There\u2019s gonna be potentially some transition process. I can envision a decade out or 15 years out or 20 years out.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA JANUARY 27, 2005: There\u2019s no denying that part of the solution in the health care arena, as we transition and deal with the legacy systems that we\u2019ve inherited, will probably require some additional money.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA 2003: (echo) I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer, universal health care plan.&nbsp; A single-payer health care plan, universal health care plan.&nbsp; That\u2019s what I\u2019d like to see.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_129568\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/ObamaQuoteDoctor2LiesPIX.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">RUSH:&nbsp; That last is from 2003 when he is just diddling around in the state of Illinois, 2003. (impression) &#8220;Single-payer! I\u2019m a proponent of a single-payer, universal health care plan.&#8221;&nbsp; He\u2019s telling audiences of supporters and other academics how he\u2019s gonna get there, and we are right in the middle of the his plan. In fact, we\u2019re ahead of it! He thought it wouldn\u2019t be \u2019til the end of his second term.&nbsp; Actually, we are right on schedule.&nbsp; Here he is from 2004&#8230;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>OBAMA 2004:&nbsp; What I\u2019m looking at is a very specific proposal that would provide health care coverage for all children who need it all across the United States, would allow 55- to 64-year-olds to buy into the Medicare system.&nbsp; And I think if we could start with children and, uh, those persons 55 to 64 that are most vulnerable, then we could start filling in those holes and ultimately I think, uh, move in the direction of a universal health care plan.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp;
