RUSH: Folks, I want you to be very, very aware of something.\u00a0 I wouldn\u2019t put anything past anybody on the left in this election.\u00a0 I\u2019m here to tell you, as much as we have talked about it, I don\u2019t think we\u2019ve gotten close to describing and nailing the sheer panic that exists on the left at the thought of losing this.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t think of a way to describe it. If you were about to lose everything, if you knew that you were going to lose everything in a week to 10 days, what would you be thinking, what would you be doing, how would that affect you?\u00a0 That\u2019s what we\u2019re talking about here.\u00a0 Being in the establishment, being in the political power structure is everything.\u00a0 People in that club or in that group of people, it is how they derive practically 100 percent of their self-worth. It is how they derive their standard of living, their lifestyle. It is how they secure the future for their kids.<\/p>\n

This network of wires and conventions and connections, networking and so forth, is how they live.\u00a0 It\u2019s how they insulate themselves from the everyday forces of life that people not in that club don\u2019t have as much ability to insulate themselves.\u00a0 And it\u2019s a very, very special thing to be in the establishment.\u00a0 Oftentimes you get in there by birth, you get in by family name, you get in by resume, you get in by where you went to school.\u00a0 A lot of it is legacy.\u00a0 You\u2019re in it because your parents or your family was in it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s very rare for outsiders to come in and crash it and stay there.\u00a0 It happens.\u00a0 But it\u2019s very rare.\u00a0 If you\u2019re on the verge of losing everything — and whether it\u2019s everything for real or not, but in your mind, losing this election means you lose everything.\u00a0 I think a lot of people on our side already have that attitude in the sense that losing this election is tantamount to losing the country.<\/p>\n

And for people on our side, it\u2019s the country, it\u2019s the founding of our country, it\u2019s the Constitution, it is our capitalist system of economics and government that provides future opportunity for them and their kids and their families.\u00a0 It is the country.\u00a0 It\u2019s the way the country was founded, the way the country is structured, the way the country operates, where those opportunities are.\u00a0 And this election, to many people, represents a closing down of those opportunities because of a dramatic transformation of the country.<\/p>\n

People inside the establishment don\u2019t depend on the country, they don\u2019t depend on the principles of the founding per se.\u00a0 They depend on the connections being in the club gives them.\u00a0 Now, I\u2019ve talked to many people.\u00a0 You have, too, and you\u2019ve heard it said, you\u2019ve read it, other people do think this election is about the country, holding on to the country as founded, losing of the country.\u00a0 One of the reasons that\u2019s so crucial to people is because that\u2019s their kids\u2019 future, it\u2019s their grandkids\u2019 future.<\/p>\n

The United States of America, with its focus on individual freedom and liberty, merit-based achievement, all of that, that has been what has made the United States exceptional and different from practically all other nations in human history on earth.\u00a0 And if we are to lose that status by virtue of losing an election because the people who will win want to close off those opportunities, want to basically say that America as founded is corrupt, America as founded is unfair, America needs to be transformed — and you know the drill, what the Democrats stand for.<\/p>\n

So people on our side have the same attitude about this election that people in the establishment do; but the people in the establishment have much more power, individually and within their group.\u00a0 They run everything.\u00a0 And the prospect of losing it, I cannot describe to you the kind of fear and panic it causes.\u00a0 And that\u2019s why I think all bets are off in terms of what those people would do to hold onto what they\u2019ve got.\u00a0 It\u2019s human nature.<\/p>\n

And I just want to reemphasize this, because there\u2019s still a lot of time, and there\u2019s a lot of tricks that can still be pulled.\u00a0 What happens, let\u2019s say here\u2019s the Washington Post tracking poll<\/a>, Hillary\u2019s lost eight points in four days, and they\u2019re all out there making a big deal of it.\u00a0 I could cite you a lot of other polls where a similar downward trajectory by Mrs. Clinton is taking place.\u00a0 What happens if the polls on Monday or Tuesday next week show her regaining it all, how are you gonna feel?\u00a0 You\u2019re gonna say, “Aw, no, oh, no.”<\/p>\n

You\u2019re gonna be one measure of angry, another measure of depressed.\u00a0 And I just want to take the occasion of the program here today again to once again tell you, nobody knows.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t over.\u00a0 There are too many factors in this election that do not have enough precedents for there to be accurate projections, predictions, calculations.\u00a0 That\u2019s primarily because of the presence of Trump.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t even know, for example, what percentage of Trump supporters at these rallies are even Republican?\u00a0 We don\u2019t really know.\u00a0 I have an audio sound bite today, somebody says, “They\u2019re not Republicans.\u00a0 They\u2019re not Republicans.\u00a0 This is biggest joke on Republicans.\u00a0 Trump supporters are not Republican.”\u00a0 Nobody knows what is going on.<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s deal with what we have today.\u00a0 If the polls change dramatically and the other way next week, we\u2019ll deal with that if that happens.\u00a0 Not gonna predict it; I just want to warn you that they will do anything.\u00a0 “They” — meaning the Democrats and Republicans, the Washington-New York-Boston power corridor — are not going to just sit by and let this happen.\u00a0 They\u2019re going to do everything they can to influence the outcome.\u00a0 They have the power to do so.\u00a0 That\u2019s one of the perks of being in the establishment.<\/p>\n

You run the American political system.<\/p>\n

You run the government.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a massive, massive undertaking to wrest control from the establishment, from the elites, from the ruling class — and that happening is closer to reality than anybody ever dreamed it would be. Hence all the panic out there, particularly on the Hillary side things.<\/p>\n
