I mean, after all, the Democrat Party portrays itself all these years as the party of the little guy. We know that they know who they are. They know who the economically disadvantaged are. This effort to make it look like they missed something. They didn\u2019t miss anything. They either didn\u2019t tell us what they knew or they disregarded what they knew as irrelevant. But about Obama\u2019s approval rating — and I did address this yesterday — people asked me, “Rush, doesn\u2019t it mean his approval rating of 53 or 55%\u2019s also a lie?” Maybe, but not necessarily. <\/p>\n
It could go one of two ways. You could easily say, and you would not get any arguments from people, that if the polling data on the presidential race was wrong and if they missed it and if all of the news they were reporting was wrong and purposefully skewed, then doesn\u2019t it follow that what they\u2019re telling us about Obama\u2019s approval rating is also a lie? And, using that logical progression, you could easily make that case, yeah. <\/p>\n
But it might be real in one sense. We know that Obama\u2019s policies were sent packing. We know that the Democrat Party\u2019s agenda was blown to smithereens by the voters of this country on Election Day. Barack Obama put his agenda on the ballot. He went out and campaigned for Hillary Clinton and said that his legacy was at stake and he urged people to vote for him to protect his accomplishments and his agenda. They can\u2019t now run and say, “Well, Obama\u2019s agenda wasn\u2019t on the ballot. He not running.” It was, and he put it there. And it got shellacked. <\/p>\n
There are no two ways about it, there is no other way to candy coat this. The Barack Obama agenda was blown to smithereens, specifically defeated. So how can he have a 53% approval rating? Well, if a pollster asks a voter, “Do you approve of the job president\u2019s doing or not?” it makes perfect sense to me that voters would not want to encounter a pollster mad at them for disapproving Obama \u2019cause the pollster might say it\u2019s racist or whatever. The easiest thing to do is say, yeah. <\/p>\n

<\/a>But if you ask those people, “Do you approve of what Obama\u2019s done with health care,” you\u2019ll get a truthful answer, “No, I don\u2019t.” “Do approve of or do you support” and then name another Obama policy, and you\u2019ll get no, we\u2019re not in favor of this at all. We\u2019re not in favor of Obamacare. We\u2019re not favor of the stimulus package. You take the policy. Do you agree or disagree with Obama\u2019s use of executive order? No! We don\u2019t like it at all. You take him out of the question and people tell you the truth of what they think of his agenda. You put him in the question and it could well be that people will tell pollsters that they approve of Obama. <\/p>\n
