{"id":215191,"date":"2016-12-16T17:10:20","date_gmt":"2016-12-16T22:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/172.24.32.11\/daily\/2016\/12\/16\/for_the_first_time_in_eight_years_we_finally_have_hope_mrs_obama_\/"},"modified":"2018-02-26T14:04:00","modified_gmt":"2018-02-26T19:04:00","slug":"for_the_first_time_in_eight_years_we_finally_have_hope_mrs_obama_","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/daily\/2016\/12\/16\/for_the_first_time_in_eight_years_we_finally_have_hope_mrs_obama_\/","title":{"rendered":"For the First Time in Eight Years, We Finally Have Hope, Mrs. Obama!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: They just won\u2019t go away.&nbsp; The very people who told us that Donald Trump represented a threat to the Democratic process themselves are trying to undo and overthrow the democrat process.&nbsp; The American left and the Democrat Party is as big a bunch of sleaze as I have seen in the 30 years I\u2019ve been doing this.&nbsp; And I\u2019m counting some years in Sacramento to get to 30 years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They have become unhinged.&nbsp; They have become even more deluded and deranged than they are normally.&nbsp; They have given to just outright lying.&nbsp; There is journalistic malpractice going on.&nbsp; The first lady of the United States, who in all of this we are constantly told is the epitome of class.&nbsp; No matter what else, this Regime and the Democrat Party, no matter what kind of murk and muck it\u2019s swimming around in, we are told that Michelle (My Belle) Obama is, what, Mr. Snerdley?&nbsp; Classy, the epitome of class.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">Well, the first lady sat down with The Oprah to do a, &#8220;Gee, we wish it wasn\u2019t over&#8221; interview and actually steps up the war with Trump.&nbsp; <\/line><img id=\"eZObject_132102\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Michelle-Obama-Classless-B4.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">She told The Oprah that Americans have no hope, all hope is lost, all hope is gone now that Trump is only weeks away from the Oval Office.&nbsp; And Michelle (My Belle) Obama suggests that a grown-up should be in charge.&nbsp; It\u2019s audio sound bite number 12.&nbsp; Listen to this.<\/line>\n<p>MICHELLE:&nbsp; Yes, I do, because we feel the difference now.<\/p>\n<p>OPRAH:&nbsp; Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>MICHELLE:&nbsp; See, now we\u2019re feeling what not having hope feels like.&nbsp; You know, hope is necessary.&nbsp; It\u2019s a necessary concept.&nbsp; And Barack didn\u2019t just talk about hope because he thought it was just a nice slogan to get votes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; Yes, he did.<\/p>\n<p>MICHELLE:&nbsp; I mean, he and I and so many believe that if you &#8212; what else do you have if you don\u2019t have hope?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kDuSntYTRFo\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; Yourself, for crying out?&nbsp; What do you mean, hope?&nbsp; Don\u2019t get me started. Folks, I am so on edge today, I\u2019ve about had it with these people and everything else going on here.&nbsp; I\u2019ve got to rein in what I actually want to say about this bunch.&nbsp; &#8220;If you\u2019ve lost hope, what else &#8211;&#8221; for the first time in eight years, Mrs. Obama, we have some damn hope!&nbsp; For the first time &#8212; I\u2019m sorry, folks.&nbsp; I\u2019m at my wits\u2019 end with these people.&nbsp; Let\u2019s go back and listen to Mrs. Obama February 18th, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>MICHELLE:&nbsp; Let me tell you something.&nbsp; For the first time in my adult lifetime I\u2019m really proud of my country.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LYY73RO_egw\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; I guess it only lasted eight years then.&nbsp; So your husband gets nominated, first time in your life you\u2019re proud of your country, and after eight years of your husband we have no hope.&nbsp; That\u2019s the way to look at it.&nbsp; After eight years of your husband and you, we have no hope.&nbsp; Sorry.&nbsp; You might not have any hope, but a whole slew of us are damned excited and filled with hope and optimism and unbridled we-can\u2019t-wait-to-get-start-ism.&nbsp; No hope.&nbsp; How in the hell does that inspire anybody?&nbsp; And it doesn\u2019t, and that\u2019s the key.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So you can say good-bye to any remaining vestiges of class.&nbsp; The media threw away whatever class they had years ago.&nbsp; Obama\u2019s class has always been an illusion clouded in faculty lounge, lizard lounge talk, and Michelle Obama\u2019s class has actually been told us by the media that it exists, but this is clear evidence that there isn\u2019t any.&nbsp; There isn\u2019t anything that\u2019s real.&nbsp; Everything on the left is a fraud.&nbsp; Everything on the left is a lie. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_132110\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Michelle-Hopeless-A.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">RUSH:&nbsp; Michelle Obama tells The Oprah, &#8220;We have no hope.&#8221;&nbsp; All hope is lost with the election of Donald Trump. Are you doing a psychological services analysis of Michelle (My Belle) as a result of her interview with Oprah in which she said, &#8220;We have no hope now&#8221;?&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (chuckling)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You want to cut her some slack on that?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (chuckling) No, I\u2019m being facetious, Rush.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; Thank goodness.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:&nbsp; But I thought you might get a little kick out of it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; Well, you know, I would, too, normally except this is the one person in the administration that nobody doubts.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:&nbsp; Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; She\u2019s the one person, by every indication we\u2019ve got, who has credibility, honesty, class, integrity.&nbsp; Now she\u2019s out&#8230; Look at this, eight years ago, &#8220;First time in my life I\u2019ve been proud of my country,&#8221; when her husband is gonna be nominated.&nbsp; Now after eight years of her husband, she\u2019s without hope.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:&nbsp; Well, it just goes to show what kind of a deep-seated insecurity that she has, and most of the Democratic Party is in the same boat.&nbsp; It\u2019s sort of like a reality show.
