RUSH: To Nashville. This is Bryce, and I\u2019m glad you waited. How you doing, sir?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mega dittos, Rush. It\u2019s an honor to be talking to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: My question is, if the preelection polls and the exit polls are wrong, why do we believe the popularity polls of Obama? What was the sampling?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you\u2019re talking about his approval numbers?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Here\u2019s one theory. When you put Obama\u2019s policies and his agenda on a poll, or, if you ask if people if they think the country\u2019s headed in the wrong direction or the right direction, there\u2019s no question “wrong direction,” two-thirds people say so, and almost as many people oppose the Obama agenda. But then when you ask a separate question and maybe even a separate poll, how would you rate President Obama in his job performance, he gets 53.<\/p>\n

Now, my theory is that, if everything\u2019s legit, that result is come by because people refuse to tell a pollster they disapprove of Obama because of the racial component. They simply don\u2019t want the pollster to think that they\u2019re racist. If it\u2019s not legit, then the pollsters are making it up, because it doesn\u2019t fit. I mean, how do you have a president with a 53% approval rating when two-thirds of the people disapprove of everything he\u2019s done?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s your question, right?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>CALLER: Yes. Exactly. And most people I know can\u2019t wait for next Friday.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, I know. I know. But look, everybody knows he\u2019s leaving anyway, so if it\u2019s just a question, how would you rate the president\u2019s approval, job performance. Many people think it\u2019s a likability poll, and say, “Hey, he\u2019s a likable guy. I don\u2019t dislike him. He\u2019s dead wrong on everything, but…”<\/p>\n

But, look, if you are suspicious that the poll is not right, I\u2019m not gonna try to talk you out of it. The evidence is abundant that the polls have been monkeyed with over the course of this whole campaign. So, if it makes more sense to you that the poll is manufactured in order to make Obama look good, I\u2019m not gonna try to talk you out of it. I\u2019m just telling you I can see 53% of people in a sample saying they like Obama \u2019cause they don\u2019t want to even get close to saying they don\u2019t like the first black president.<\/p>\n

Nobody believes in privacy. They think everybody can violate security, find out who they are, people are scared to death. And even so, it\u2019s only 53. It\u2019s not the 66 that Clinton had. Look, I\u2019m out of time. I gotta ask you real quick, Snerdley will get the details. If you want a new iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, tell him, tell him your carrier and the color you want.
