The Drive-By Media&#8230; Remember, BuzzFeed publishes the entire 35-page dossier of memos. None of it verified. None of it established. None of it approved. None of it confirmed. They admit this when they publish it. They claim it\u2019s been out there for months. You need to make up your own minds, meaning: you, the American people.<\/p>\n<p>This dossier has been floating around for months, and, if you heard rumors that they really got something waiting to blow up on Trump all last summer, this is what it is. There was nothing to it. It\u2019s totally made up. It\u2019s bogus. It is a series of memos written by a former spook at MI6, the U.K. version of the CIA. And it turns out that the guy who was actually commissioned to do this works for an outfit hired by <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/daily\/2017\/01\/12\/planned-parenthood-strategist-wrote-the-dirty-trump-dossier\/\">Planned Parenthood<\/a>. The guy is embedded deeply in liberal Democrat politics. The whole thing is made up.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s part of what I\u2019ve continually told you: The effort the media is making to destroy Trump. In the normal course of events, they\u2019re able to destroy Republicans with innuendo and allegation. That\u2019s all it takes. Republicans have resigned, have cowered in fear because two things have been at work. The media release something that is either total BS or has a small, little grain of truth in it about a Republican, and people believe it. It\u2019s the media! Low-information people believe it. The Republican Party\u2019s never had anybody in it willing to fight back, nor that knew how.<\/p>\n<p>So the media has become accustomed to this technique of taking out political opponents with bilge like this working. But again they don\u2019t know what they\u2019re up against with Donald Trump. They think that the techniques that they\u2019ve used for decades to destroy political opponents are gonna work on Trump, and they just don\u2019t understand why they don\u2019t work. They don\u2019t understand the connection Trump\u2019s voters have with him. They don\u2019t understand connection of Trump\u2019s supporters. They don\u2019t believe that Trump actually won the election.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re living in a really deluded place, and they\u2019re totally unhinged. So it was finally exposed to be fraudulent, and all these media people began to back off. Oh, by the way, Neil Cavuto had a brilliant point yesterday. Neil Cavuto of the Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel. Cavuto said&#8230; I\u2019m paraphrasing, but he essentially&#8230; I\u2019m paraphrasing. He essentially said to the media, &#8220;Hey, media, what\u2019s it feel like to be attacked by a president? Hey, media, you never defended us at Fox when Obama came after us or Rush Limbaugh for the last eight years,&#8221; and he\u2019s gotta great point.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1mBKVCNEW1o\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Whenever Obama would trash Fox or trash me and talk radio, the Drive-Bys didn\u2019t act like there was anything wrong. In fact, many of them piled on Fox News along with Obama. So now here\u2019s Trump, and he\u2019s not just trashing the media for the sake of it like Obama trashed Fox News; he\u2019s trashing the media because they\u2019re a bunch of frauds! He\u2019s trashing the media because they are engaging in fake news and he\u2019s calling \u2019em out on it! So Cavuto\u2019s point was, &#8220;Hey, media, you never came to our defense when Obama was attacking us. So go sit in it. Find out what it\u2019s like.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You\u2019re acting like this has never happened before. You\u2019re acting like this is beyond the pale. Your buddy Obama spent eight years doing this kind of stuff to Fox News and to talk radio and to Rush Limbaugh, and you haven\u2019t said a word in support. Now when Trump comes after you, you\u2019re acting like all kinds of societal norms and traditions are being blown up.&#8221; Cavuto is exactly right about this. It\u2019s uch a good point that I wish I had thought of it.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, U.K. Daily Mail. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-4114716\/Extraordinary-details-ordinary-citizen-John-McCain-actually-dispatched-trusted-aide-Atlantic-dirty-dossier-ex-spy.html\">It\u2019s not anywhere in the United States media. U.K. Daily Mail today<\/a>, I want to read some excerpts from the story. &#8220;On November 18, at the Halifax International Security Forum,&#8221; in Canada, Senator John &#8220;McCain was introduced to a &#8216;former senior western diplomat\u2019 who had set eyes on the documents and knew who put them together, telling the Arizona Republican that the individual was &#8216;highly reliable.\u2019 That man can now be named as Sir Andrew Wood, British ambassador to Moscow from 1995 to 2000.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So the U.K. ambassador to Moscow, Sir Andrew Wood tells McCain in Canada last November that this dossier is real, he knows the guy who did it, and you can rely on it. Sir Andrew Wood told the U.K. Independent newspaper &#8220;that he had met McCain, spoken to him about Trump, and about the potential for him to be compromised,&#8221; based on this dossier. &#8220;In a carefully nuanced statement he said: &#8216;Yes I did meet Senator McCain and his aides at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8216;We spoke about the kind of activities the Russians can be engaged in. We also spoke about how Mr. Trump may find himself in a position where there could be an attempt to blackmail him with Kompromat (a Russian term for compromising material) and claims that there were audio and video tapes in existence'&#8221; of what Trump had done. So Sir Andrew Wood admits to British newspapers that he told McCain about Trump\u2019s behavior documented by the Russians and that\u2019s in this dossier that could lead to Trump being blackmailed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He added: &#8216;I would like to stress that I did not pass on any dossier to Senator McCain or anyone else and I did not see a dossier at the time. I do know Christopher Steele,'&#8221; the guy who wrote it and was paid for by Planned Parenthood in previous events, &#8220;&#8216;and in my view he is very professional and thorough in what he does.'&#8221; So Sir Andrew Wood, obviously a leftist, telling McCain that this whole thing is for real. The Russians have video and audio compromising Trump; they can blackmail him. (paraphrased)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I haven\u2019t seen the dossier but I\u2019ve talked to the guy who put it together, Christopher Steele,&#8221; Democrat consultant hired by Planned Parenthood, &#8220;and in my view he\u2019s totally reliable.&#8221; So McCain sold this bill of goods in Canada by the U.K. ambassador to Moscow that the dossier is real, that the Russians have audio and videotape. But he didn\u2019t have the dossier to give McCain. He did not address&#8230; He did not admit that he told McCain how to get it. But somebody did because after all of this, &#8220;McCain dispatched a &#8216;trusted emissary\u2019 who flew across the Atlantic [to the U.K.] to meet the source of the documents at an airport that the Guardian did not name.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/McCain-01.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-217292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/McCain-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"585\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/McCain-01.jpg 585w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/McCain-01-300x115.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 585px) 100vw, 585px\" \/><\/a>&#8220;The aide was instructed to look for a man with a copy of the Financial Times and that\u2019s how the individuals met, with the source taking McCain\u2019s emissary back to his house and giving&#8221; McCain\u2019s emissary a copy of the dossier. So let me again synthesize this: McCain is in Canada, Halifax International Security Forum. The British ambassador to Moscow comes up and tells him about this document that the Russians have audio and videotape of Trump supporting behaving in ways in hotel room that could blackmail him.<\/p>\n<p>The Russians have the evidence. This guy is not seen the dossier. He knows it exists and he knows the guy who put it together, he\u2019s a very trustworthy guy. They didn\u2019t have the dossier to give McCain, so McCain is so intrigued by this last November he actually dispatched an aide to fly to the U.K. to meet somebody who had the dossier at his home, took McCain\u2019s emissary to his home and gave McCain\u2019s emissary the dossier. &#8220;Within 24 hours, the dossier was in Washington, though the contents of the file couldn\u2019t be verified without an investigation,&#8221; meaning it was all BS.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;McCain, the Guardian said, was worried that his actions might be interpreted as revenge for some of the controversial comments Trump made about him,&#8221; i.e. not respecting military people being captured. &#8220;However, McCain decided to hand over the documents to FBI Director James Comey&#8230;&#8221; It was redundant because Comey already had them. (chuckles) The document had been&#8230; The thing is funny about this: This document had been floating around Washington for months.<\/p>\n<p>McCain only really heard that he could get his hands on it in November and wanted it so badly he sent somebody on a plane to the U.K. in November to get this damn thing and bring it back, and he gave it to Comey! That\u2019s why McCain yesterday (imitating McCain), &#8220;Comey already had it. I wasn\u2019t the first guy that gave it to him. I was wearing my citizen hat, my good citizen hat, sensitive material, who knows if it\u2019s true, potential problem.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So you don\u2019t find this in the American media, but here\u2019s McCain, a Republican joining forces with all these anti-Never Trump people in an effort to bring Trump down and trafficking in pure BS. I mention this because the sound bites we had on McCain yesterday made him sound like he\u2019s a third-party player here. He heard about it and somehow it ended up in his possession, he thought it was dynamite so he took it over to Comey. There\u2019s never any reporting that McCain was so eager to see this that he sent somebody on a transatlantic flight to get it, even though it was already circulating around Washington. And it\u2019s blown up in their faces \u2019cause it isn\u2019t verifiable, it isn\u2019t true.<\/p>\n<p>However, the media\u2019s not letting go. I\u2019ve got sound bites here where they\u2019re still investigating it. They still think there\u2019s something to it, otherwise it would never have been written. And they\u2019re gonna get to the bottom of it if it\u2019s the last thing they do. And if there\u2019s evidence that Trump hired prostitutes to go urinate on a bed in the Ritz Carlton in Moscow where Obama and Michelle had slept, they\u2019re gonna find the evidence. They\u2019re hell-bent. Even though Trump addressed all this. He says (paraphrasing), &#8220;Look, I know better than most, when you go to a hotel in Russia, it\u2019s bugged. I don\u2019t hire prostitutes, I\u2019m a germophobe, I wouldn\u2019t allow it, it\u2019s absurd, it\u2019s ridiculous.&#8221; And it is.
