I appreciate your patience and welcome to the program.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Truthfully we need to win the peace, because if you don\u2019t win the peace, well, what do you &#8212; what\u2019s going to happen? Many wars get fought &#8212;<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Are we talking about the House of Representatives &#8212;<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: No, talk about the big thing here, you know, the Doomsday Clock that\u2019s seven minutes to midnight.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Really, yeah, I forgot it about that.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Well, it\u2019s on the thing, it\u2019s just a gauge, but you think about it, anywhere in history, we gotta win the peace. Ask the Native American Indians, the Shawnee, the Cherokee.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah. How do you do that?<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: How did they do it?<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: No &#8212; I wasn\u2019t around &#8212; <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofshawnee.org\/\">Shawnee<\/a> is now a town in Kansas City.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: I would suggest if we &#8212; if you want to win the peace, the basic necessities of people need to be met. If there\u2019s not &#8212;<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Well, how do you do that? Wait, wait, wait. Those are fascinating points. How do you meet the basic necessities of all people? There are two ways of doing it.<\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>CALLER: Well, are you asking me a question or are you going to say a question and then just say the answer?<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: No, I\u2019m going to clarify the question so you can answer it.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Okay.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: There are basically two ways in human society, human civilization we\u2019ve sought to spread the necessities, the needs and wants of most people. Capitalism and socialism. One works and one doesn\u2019t. What is your theory on how we satisfy every person\u2019s necessities?<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: You know, when I was a little kid, just down the mall was a big ethnic festival they used to have like once a year. And all the people in Parma, Ohio, would come from different generations and different nationalities and sell food.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Okay? And everybody loved it.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Wait a minute. Not everybody could afford to buy food in Parma. Why didn\u2019t they give it away?<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: No, it was handmade, it was cheap, it was cheap.
