RUSH: I have told you it\u2019s the media running things on the left, not the Democrats. Here\u2019s some evidence. Democrats rolled out their latest election year slogans. The New York Times editorial board says, “No, no, you gotta lay out your\u00a0agenda.”<\/p>\n
So the Democrats\u00a0have to demonstrate to the country that at least one political party wants to \u201cget things done\u201d before the midterm elections in 2018. The Republicans, those mean old guys, they won\u2019t help them, but the Democrats should press forward anyway, because the New York Times says America will notice.<\/p>\n
What are the big agenda items?
\n\u2022Raising the minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour.
\n\u2022New job training programs.
\n\u2022Lowering prescription drug costs.
\n\u2022Reining in big corporate power and giving power back to the people.
\n\u2022Expanding family leave laws to mandate more paid time off to employees, while ignoring the consequences to businesses.<\/p>\n
Oh, and they also want to talk to Trump about his infrastructure promises.<\/p>\n

But you see, here\u2019s the thing. Minimum wage hikes kill jobs. Attacking businesses with new \u201cfeel-good\u201d regulations kills jobs. Creating more government programs grows government, not the economy. There\u2019s nothing the Democrats are offering now that they haven\u2019t offered before. That list is sick.<\/p>\n
