It\u2019s pretty cold today, though.<\/line><BR\/><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/open_line_friday.Par.0002.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"222\" height=\"364\" class=\"alignright\"\/> RUSH: Well, it\u2019s global warming.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Yep, yep.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: You only think it\u2019s cold.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Too funny. Hey, we home school four kids and we want to thank you for what you do in helping us teach our kids about political science, the right side of it.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: You\u2019re welcome.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: My daughters and I had are heading to Washington, DC, tonight to go to The March for Life on Monday and we\u2019re going to do some sight-seeing and shopping and we were wondering what your favorite historical site is and restaurant, in Washington, DC.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Well, I don\u2019t have a favorite restaurant in Washington because I haven\u2019t eaten in one &#8212; I don\u2019t go there enough. I can\u2019t remember the last restaurant I ate at in Washington.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Okay.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Wait, yes, I can, it was 1992 and it was the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ebbitt.com\/main\/index-flash.cfm\">Old Ebbitt Grill<\/a>. <\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, that\u2019s on our list, someone else has suggested that.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah, it\u2019s not far from the White House.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Right.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: I\u2019ll tell you why. That was the day I went to the White House to have dinner with President Bush 41, and I had heard that he and his wife Barbara ate like birds, so I was advised to go eat a real dinner before I showed up. I went into the Old Ebbitt Grill with a friend. As for historical sites, my God you\u2019re not going to have enough time to see them all. For me, aside from the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/linc\/\">Lincoln Memorial<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/thje\/\">Jefferson Memorial<\/a> and the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/wamo\/home.htm\">Washington Monument<\/a>, of course, I go nuts over the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nasm.si.edu\/\">Air and Space Museum<\/a>.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Okay.<\/line><BR\/> RUSH: That place is just fascinating to me, and they\u2019ve recently &#8212; well, within a couple years, three years, expanded it. It\u2019s part of the Smithsonian.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Yes.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: It\u2019s a shame you can\u2019t get out to Mount Vernon, George Washington\u2019s home. You would not believe what they have done to revive this place as a historical and educational center. It would literally blow your mind. What else that you could do? Well, you?ve got the war memorials, you\u2019ve got the Vietnam and Korea and World War II memorials.<\/line><BR\/><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nasm.si.edu\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/open_line_friday.Par.0007.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"299\" height=\"239\" class=\"alignright\"\/><\/a>CALLER: Yeah, we\u2019re taking a night tour of all those.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah, well, you\u2019re doing all this stuff.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: We just wanted to find out what your favorite thing was.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Well, jeez. You know, the National Archives, gotta see the actual Constitution.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, cool.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Place where Sandy Burglar stole the documents.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: In his socks, good place to see. You might want to go to Fort Marcy Park, see if you get out alive.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Okay. (Laughing.)<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: No, but I tell you, the airspace museum, they\u2019ve got items in there that &#8212; I could spend all day in there.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Okay. Well, thank you very much. We\u2019re looking forward to having a good time.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: You bet. The Lincoln bedroom would be nice but unfortunately you need an invitation to get in there.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, yeah, I don\u2019t think I want to take my daughters there.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: In this administration. Wait \u2019til the next Democrat and you can buy your way in for a hundred grand.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: I think I\u2019ll pass.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: All right, well, have fun.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Thank you.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: You bet.
