I\u2019m so excited to be on the show.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, I can understand. You know, I would be too if I could be on my show. I wasn\u2019t really into history before, but once I read these I just totally got into it, and I just wanted to say thank you.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: How did you discover them?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I was at the library, I was just looking for some books and I saw yours on the shelf, and I\u2019m like, &#8220;I gotta get this.&#8221; So I got it right away.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait, which library?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It was the (unintelligible) library?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Was it a public library or a school library?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: A public library.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: No kidding! You found my books at a public library. Were they in the cooking section?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No. (giggling)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s progress. That\u2019s incredible! Well, how many of them have you read, Sydney?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I read two. That sets the stage for everything that follows.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: This is great. You said you did like history some but this really expanded your desire?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes. Yeah. Yeah, in school I read a few books here and there and I really didn\u2019t think much about it, but once I read these I\u2019m like, &#8220;This is perfect.&#8221; I want to keep reading them, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s just cool. You\u2019re making my day here. So you\u2019ve read two. You can\u2019t find the others in the library.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, Sydney, if your parents wouldn\u2019t mind &#8212; I always get permission when talking to somebody your age. If your parents wouldn\u2019t mind, I would love to send you a full set.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, my gosh, that\u2019d be great!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And I\u2019ll send you the CDs. I record these books on audio, so, if you get tired of reading now and then, you can pop in a CD and listen to me read it to you. It\u2019s actually quite good.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, my gosh, that would be so great! I don\u2019t think my mom and dad would mind at all. They\u2019d say yes right away.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Awesome!
