CALLER: Thanks, Rush. You\u2019re the most famous person I\u2019ve ever spoken to.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m flattered. I\u2019m flattered.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not surprised, either, but I\u2019m flattered to all get out.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All right. Well, here\u2019s my question, get right to it. So I was looking at the stats on Planned Parenthood\u2019s website, and it says that only 3% of their services are abortions. So I was just super curious, why does the left spend so much time politicizing and protecting abortion rights when they are such a small part of their overall quote, quote, services?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I think that is misleading. Only 3% of their services are abortions?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s what it said.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, what you need to look at the out there, Rebecca, is the percentage of their annual income derived from performing abortions, and you will find out that it\u2019s over 80% of their operating income.<\/p>\n

CALLER: How did you learn to, like, find that question?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, they hide it. Go look at the Guttmacher Institute<\/a>. That\u2019s one of the research arms of Planned Parenthood. They don\u2019t call it Planned Parenthood. G-u-t-t-m-a-c-h-e-r. It\u2019s one of their propaganda firms, and it\u2019s disguised as an independent think tank devoted to the issues of women\u2019s equality and so forth. Actually, it\u2019s an adjunct of Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

\"\"I have not seen that 3% stat, but I will guarantee you that is as misleading as anything the left tries to mislead you about. That only 3% of the services? They do not do mammograms. By the way, if you believe that they provide mammograms — and they publicly say this — they do not. They do not do that. They advertise for abortion. They seek women to have abortions. If there\u2019s an adoption clinic, say, right next door or very close to Planned Parenthood outlets, Planned Parenthood will have somebody out there trying to talk that young woman out of going into the adoption place.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hm-hm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mean, they\u2019re bullish on abortion. They advertise it, they promote it, and they have been caught on videotape negotiating the prices of body parts that have been collected, that have accrued after they have performed the abortions that they have.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the thing, Rebecca, beyond the specifics. The fact of the matter is that this group with that number is purposely trying to deceive. Abortions only 3% of our services? That\u2019s all Planned Parenthood does. That literally is what they\u2019re in existence for, is abortion. And the fact that they\u2019re trying to say that only 3% of the services they provide are abortion, something tells me that there may be a PR problem they\u2019re trying to overcome by downplaying their role in abortion.<\/p>\n

Because, believe me, it\u2019s the only reason they exist. Planned Parenthood originally, as designed by Margaret Sanger, was a eugenics movement. And its purpose was to rid the population of certain undesirables, various races. They wanted to breed according to intelligence and breed out certain things, like low intelligence. It was horrible, the origins of this group. And the fact they\u2019ve been embraced by people like Harvey Weinstein, what does that tell you?<\/p>\n
