CALLER: Hey Rush, it is an honor. I can\u2019t believe it. I know I have just a short period of time here to talk to you. Two things. One, with the Dianne Feinstein thing, nobody is reporting it. I have not seen it one place except for your show<\/a>. They haven\u2019t even talked about it. I can\u2019t believe the media just blow that off.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s a great example of what we\u2019ve been talking about earlier. Dianne Feinstein had to leave the MILCON subcommittee. It\u2019s the Senate Subcommittee on Military construction Appropriation. She ‘resigned last week, less than two months after Metro Newspapers, a group of alternative weekly papers in northern California,\u2019 lib papers, ‘detailed the number of defense contracts awarded to Perini Corp. and URS Corp, both of which her husband Richard Blum has ownership in. The investigation partially funded by the investigative fund of The Nation Institute, a nonprofit organization affiliated with The Nation,\u2019 the liberal magazine. It was a critique from the left, and she was steering defense dollars to companies owned or invested in heavily, by her husband. This is bigger than Congressman William Jefferson! This is Duke Cunningham kind of stuff, and it\u2019s nowhere, because she quit. It is nowhere. The Drive-Bys are not interested. This is something that dwarfs the US attorney so-called scandal. This ought to be a mushroom cloud over Dianne Feinstein, but the Drive-Bys are not interested<\/a>, her local media in San Francisco is not interested, and it is what it is. It\u2019s a classic illustration of why and how if you spend all your time in the Drive-By Media, you are going to be so poisoned and distorted you will not have any idea what\u2019s true and what isn\u2019t. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
