CALLER: Good, how are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m fine. I\u2019m really good. Thank you. I\u2019m glad it\u2019s Friday. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Me, too. I\u2019m calling just to say thank you for your show and Hillsdale College, \u2019cause I\u2019ve learned a lot. I\u2019m taking the online course right now about the Constitution.<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. You are 12 years old, and you\u2019re taking a course online that is taught to college freshmen and sophomores, and you…? You follow it?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>CALLER: Yeah, I do.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s amazing. You must be… You must be brilliant!<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, thank you so much.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Which I would understand, given that you listen to this program. I think listening here would prepare you well for a Hillsdale lecture, but, still, I\u2019m dazzled. That is incredible. You\u2019re 12 years old and you\u2019re actually able to get something out of those lectures on the Constitution?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am. It\u2019s very interesting, and my grandpa, he listens in, too, and he\u2019s the one that introduced me to your show.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I have to ask you, what grade are you in in school at age 12?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m in seventh grade.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Seventh grade. So how much, just in school, have you been taught about the Constitution so far?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, we haven\u2019t. Since the school year just began, we haven\u2019t really learned very much, but it\u2019s very interesting to get more background knowledge for when I do learn it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah, so in grades…? It\u2019s been so long for me I\u2019ve forgotten, so you have to refresh me. In grades like two through six, there wasn\u2019t much, if anything, on the Constitution, right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. And we haven\u2019t really learned anything yet, either, right now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And, yet, here you are, you\u2019re taking a college-level course on it. You have no background in it yet. You have no foundation built. Well, what is your thought? I\u2019d be fascinated to know what you think of the Constitution. With this being the first that you\u2019ve learned about it, what have your impressions been?<\/p>\n

CALLER: My impression is that I think it\u2019s very…? I think that Americans are very brave for standing up to the British, and I feel that I think if that didn\u2019t happen back then, that our world wouldn\u2019t be like it is today.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s absolutely true. I\u2019m still just blown away by you. How many lectures in the series have you seen so far?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right now, I\u2019ve seen about two.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh! Well, you\u2019ve got a long way to go.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I tell you, the people at Hillsdale are gonna be so blown away that you are able to follow this and learn from it. They\u2019re gonna be jazzed. They\u2019re gonna be thrilled.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re probably ahead of some of the students that are on campus.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggles) Thank you so much.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you\u2019re more than welcome. I tell you what. Do you have an iPad, Macy?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you think your granddad or your parents would mind if I gave you one?<\/p>\n

RUSH: ‘Cause you could really put one to use.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, thank you so much.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You would really be able to put one to use. Now, I\u2019ve got… There are two sizes here. One\u2019s a 10-and-a-half-inch screen, and the other\u2019s big. It\u2019s like 13 inches. They\u2019re identical except for the size. They\u2019ve got the same guts, they\u2019ve got the same processor, the same everything. Which size do you think would be easiest for you to use and carry around?<\/p>\n

CALLER: To be honest, I think the bigger one would be better.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Everybody chooses the bigger one.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right on. Okay. I have one just for you, and I\u2019m gonna send you a fast-charging cable too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you so much.<\/p>\n
