CALLER: Thanks, Rush. I got three quick points. One, I wanted to let you know I\u2019ve watched your show back in \u201994 and \u201995 on TV and just two days ago I joined Rush 24\/7<\/a> on an annual basis so I get to see more Rush.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>RUSH: Well, thank you very much. I appreciate that, sir. Congratulations. It\u2019s such a wise decision and expenditure.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I think so. It leads me to my second point. If you think you look good on Dittocam, try taking an iPhone and plugging it into a projector, because I watch you on 130-inch screen every night.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. Say that again. You think I\u2019d look better on an iPhone instead of the Dittocam? Is that what you\u2019re saying?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, no. I take my iPhone; I plug it into a projector so I can see you on a 130-inch screen.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh! I got you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A 130-inch screen?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s still not enough.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ha! Is that a projector or an actual TV?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s a projector.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s a projector.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Quick. Quick. A 130 inches is how many feet?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, gosh, don\u2019t make me do math right now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. I\u2019ll exempt you because we\u2019re short of time.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Get to your next point.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. The closeness of last night\u2019s election. I think it tells me that this wasn\u2019t a rejection of the ideology of the Republican Party, just a rejection, really, of the candidate that was chosen. So I think our party will be fine. I just think that we had the wrong guy propped up.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I haven\u2019t finished… Look, some of that I don\u2019t disagree with. The bit about it, the ideology? That\u2019s probably true. It\u2019s a toss-up. But it was a loss. One thing, you can take these losses and say, “He only lost by 21,000; it was close. He only lost by 10,000! Hey, it was close! We only lost…” It\u2019s a loss — and for the Democrats, it was a huge win. How did they do it, and what does it mean going forward?<\/p>\n

I\u2019m gonna tell you: If you\u2019re in politics and you\u2019ve ever looked at a woman the wrong way you can expect a woman, at some point, to go public and say so. In fact, because of the success Democrats had with this, it\u2019s entirely possible that men who haven\u2019t done a single thing in terms of mistreating a woman, abusing her or harassing her are still nevertheless going to be accused of it. It has become a political tactic. We have now had…<\/p>\n

\"\"This is a point that I made yesterday. We have now had something that is a genuinely serious thing in its own right, in its own contained universe, sexual harassment… The use of sexual harassment and the mistreatment of women or others in the workplace is a legitimate thing. But it\u2019s now just been corrupted and weaponized and made to look like a political opposition-research weapon. And that\u2019s exactly what\u2019s happened.<\/p>\n

And so anybody can see. And you can see that when one of these allegations is made, the women are believed, and the men who are accused are not. Which means the men have to prove a negative, and the accusers don\u2019t have prove anything. That is a powerful weapon the Democrats have decided to use. And believe me, as we speak, they are behind closed doors creating further stratagems using this. And they are picking their targets. And you\u2019re gonna see more of it, I predict.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bob in Lyndon, Michigan. You\u2019re next. It\u2019s great to have you here. How are you doing?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Talking to you is the next best thing to talking to our president.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I appreciate that. Thank you and I appreciate it very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And it\u2019s free.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It is free. Exactly. We\u2019re paying for everything that might cost you money here, that\u2019s exactly right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush, I\u2019m deeply disturbed that there\u2019s been so little coverage of decades of good, gentlemanly decorum, behavior of a guy like Roy Moore. And I\u2019m thinking exactly what does it take for a guy to be exonerated from judgment that\u2019s poor earlier in life. The guy\u2019s been around crowds, he\u2019s been around children —<\/p>\n

\"\"RUSH: It can happen. You have to be a Democrat or a Democrat donor or a Democrat bundler or a Democrat fundraiser, and you have to be likable, and you have to be liberal. And if you are those things, then you at least have an opportunity for all of that bad actor stuff to be overlooked. But if you\u2019re a kook right-wing who believes in the Ten Commandments, you\u2019re toast.<\/p>\n

CALLER: So, Rush, you\u2019re telling me that I shouldn\u2019t run for office if I did something as a teenager and I\u2019m 60 years old and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m telling you if you didn\u2019t do something as a teenager and if nothing ever happened to you as a teenager, and you want to run for an office the Democrats think is theirs, be ready for a woman you never heard of to step forward and claim that you tried to ram your tongue down her throat.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, this is quite a world we live in. I\u2019m just terribly —<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you better be able to find a way to prove that your tongue has never been where they say it went.<\/p>\n

CALLER: This is so disturbing —<\/p>\n

RUSH: And how do you prove that? How do you prove that your tongue never made it halfway down the throat of somebody you never met?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019d be just, I mean, we\u2019re in trouble.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And then when it happens you better be prepared for the Republican establishment to start saying what a reprobate you are.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, you are right. You got that nailed.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I usually do. It\u2019s a serious thing. You\u2019re asking a serious question. How does somebody defend themselves against something that happened when they were teenager or 25 or 30 years old when they\u2019re now 65 or 70, it really depends who you are. It depends if you have charisma, depends if you\u2019re likable, depends if you\u2019re liberal Democrat, and it depends on how much money they\u2019re willing to pay the woman. Now, the scenario you\u2019re asking it didn\u2019t happen. That\u2019s the context in which I\u2019m answering this: It didn\u2019t happen. None of that applies to this.<\/p>\n
