RUSH: There\u2019s new report was issued by the far-left Union of Concerned Scientists and they say the government\u2019s relationship with scientists has gone downhill since President Trump took office.<\/p>\n

The Union of Concerned Scientists is … concerned. They say Trump is the first president in 40 years who hasn\u2019t bothered to appoint a presidential science adviser. They say that under Trump, the government employs fewer scientists, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy only has thirty-eight staffers instead of the 130 under Obama.<\/p>\n

The Union of Concerned Scientists — a far-left group, don\u2019t forget — claim this \u201cdeterioration\u201d is rampant across the federal government. Some scientific committees have been totally disbanded. Under Trump, there are 14% fewer scientists working at the federal level.<\/p>\n

Well, these pointy-headed leftists may be \u201cconcerned\u201d but I\u2019m not. As far as I\u2019m concerned, this is great news. The Union of Concerned Scientists are liberals. And like all liberals, their ideology comes first, last, and always. Their \u201cunion\u201d is just a vehicle to advance liberalism not science!<\/p>\n

\"\"Now, if this bunch hadn\u2019t delivered their press release to the media, nobody would even notice how many so-called scientists have been frozen out under Trump during warming. What\u2019s the downside? The economy is surging without all these excess left-wing \u201cscience advisers\u201d mucking up federal policy.<\/p>\n
