CALLER: Thank you for having me, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I heard you mention someone in the know saying that Al-Qaeda was public enemy number one in Iraq. You know, if a public enemy number one, a mad bomber of our children moved into our neighborhood, my neighbors and I who are fairly well armed, would do something about it. We would look into the matter, and if the police didn\u2019t respond, we would do something about it. Now, I\u2019m wondering — by the way, also, if our children were being bombed, I think I\u2019d go to the expense of buying a flak jacket and a steel helmet for my kids.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And my feeling is that, how is it that a country of 30 million sniveling crying citizens who are afraid to pull the trigger in self-defense is worth sending my son over there to die?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, actually I don\u2019t think you\u2019ve been listening recently, but exactly what you suggest is starting to happen, which is why I said Al-Qaeda is becoming public enemy number one. Sunni and Shi\u2019a are joining with US forces and Iraqi forces to weed out Al-Qaeda. They\u2019re getting fed up with them. They\u2019re getting fed up with the barbarism that you described. The surge is working. These clowns are fleeing all over the country, little town to little town. This strategy is indeed working, and the Iraqis, more and more, are getting fed up with it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: So they\u2019re all armed in self-defense and are prepared to defend themselves?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I don\u2019t know about that. I do know that they\u2019re working very closely with Iraqi forces who are armed and with US forces who are armed and they\u2019re becoming informants and this kind of thing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I talk to troops coming back, and they tell me that disarming innocent Iraqi citizens, knocking their front doors down, is commonplace, and I wonder if that\u2019s really, to me, that\u2019s pretty despicable thing to do, to disarm an innocent —
\nRUSH: Who\u2019s knocking down whose doors out there Mike?<\/p>\n

CALLER: American troops along with Iraqi troops.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are knocking down the doors of Iraqis?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, it\u2019s on the news all day. You can see —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, of course, we all believe what\u2019s in the news all day.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I believe the video if I see it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m going to tell you what, you\u2019ve nailed it here, and it\u2019s about time somebody called and said it on this program. The US military is a bunch of murdering thugs, and it\u2019s about time that this was broadcast. You know, we\u2019ve not gotten the truth out on that, Mike, and it\u2019s people like you that are required and necessary for democracy to work, get the truth out about the absolute butchers that the US military has become in Iraq.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, let\u2019s just send those people at least some armor so they can protect themselves.<\/p>\n

RUSH: From the US military, of course, right, that\u2019s a big problem.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I mean, this country evidently is so cheap we can send pencils and paper, but to send the kids a helmet or flak jacket.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You really ought to be ashamed of yourself. All of these so-called soldiers writing all this stuff about all these horrible attacks committed by our soldiers are a bunch of frauds. To believe that about the US military, every incident somebody has been charged, investigations have found that what was accused did not happen. You ought to be ashamed.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, these guys that call it here and ask, ‘The Iraqis, when are they going to pick up their own weapons?\u2019 They are dying for their country now. They\u2019ve been trained. It was all part of the plan. They are not ‘sniveling.\u2019 They\u2019re getting fed up with this. There\u2019s an AP poll coming. It\u2019s been embargoed \u2019til four o\u2019clock. A poll of I-don\u2019t-know-how-many Muslims, I don\u2019t know what the sample is, but the results of the poll are that more and more Muslims are rejecting suicide bombings as a means of defending Islam, something like that. I\u2019ve seen it, but I can\u2019t give you the details because the poll has been embargoed \u2019til four o\u2019clock. It\u2019s AP. I will reserve judgment on this \u2019til I actually see it, because it could be something that\u2019s going to continue to make them victims, despite what the reality of the results of the poll happen to be.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Dave ‘somewhere\u2019 in Kentucky. What is it, you don\u2019t want to admit where you are in Kentucky?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, no, I\u2019m actually traveling right now for my job.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh. I see. So you\u2019re all over Kentucky.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, somewhere between Lexington and Maysville.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, good. We\u2019re glad to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m glad to be here, sir. I\u2019m completely incensed about the caller earlier with regard to the disarmament of Iraqi civilians.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was a scout in the 1st Army Division. I was in Baghdad proper from about the early part of 2003 to the middle of 2004, and I have to say this is a complete load, sir. We have never completely disarmed Iraqi civilians. We do not plan to completely disarming Iraqi civilians. Now, if someone has an RPG launcher, there is no reason that someone needs an RPG launcher for home defense. But a pistol, a shotgun, something of that nature, we were more than happy to give them that, to protect themselves. The idea that because the country can\u2019t protect itself, that we should just say, ‘Ah, you know, here, Iran, here, Syria, have at \u2019em..\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Look, I can understand, and I apologize for this guy being on the program and saying what he said to you. You gotta understand: there are people out there like that. They\u2019re a sniveling bunch. They claim the Iraqis are ‘sniveling.\u2019 It\u2019s the left in this country that\u2019s a sniveling bunch of new castrati. They don\u2019t just put down the military. They don\u2019t just put down our commanders. They don\u2019t just put down the commander-in-chief. They don\u2019t just put down our soldiers. Now they have to put down the Iraqi allies! They have to constantly insult everybody, as though only the liberals know how to fight a war, only the liberals do. They\u2019re so brilliant, they want to substitute their political agenda for military strategy and try to cut the military budget every time they\u2019re in power, then later they complain they don\u2019t have what they need in order to get something done. They only like soldiers who come home and turn on their own, or soldiers who pose as victims for whatever sad reason. But it\u2019s obvious to me that these snivels liberals despise, they detest strong, solid, brave, committed fighting men and women who are trying to defend this nation\u2019s national security, and that I detest. I detest these people who have these attitudes, these sniveling little, superiorist, elitist who think they know better than everybody else. I can understand how you get irritated by them, and I apologize that it happened. I\u2019m glad you called, though, Dave. Thanks very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: First of all, I wanted you let you know one of my favorite things to do is go to the gym and wear my Club Gitmo shirt while I\u2019m riding on a stationary, so all the liberals behind me can see it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (Laughing.) Good for you. (Clapping.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Anyway, one thing that really got to me is listening to that guy who is talking about how the civilians just aren\u2019t coming to grips and standing up themselves, and it saddens me to see that people really don\u2019t have a historical perspective of how brutal and how pitted Saddam Hussein had those people against one another. Family members were so afraid to say anything to their own family, in fear of them being a Sunni or Shi\u2019a and coming in to arrest and torture them.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That is a great point. Not only that, these sniveling little liberals that call here do not care about the torture and all of the mayhem and murder that Saddam handed out.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. Even Uday used to torture the soccer team if they didn\u2019t win.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s just absolutely sickening for people to be that ignorant and that uninformed about actual history of what really went on with that dictator in that place.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not to mention the conditioning that that puts you in. Plus let\u2019s not leave out the fact that Al-Qaeda is not exactly a bunch of angels.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019re running around performing all kinds of barbaric acts on these people. The one thing these liberals ought to understand is fear, because they live in perpetual fear of virtually everything. Great comment, Aaron.<\/p>\n

CALLER: God. I\u2019ve never been able to get through after 18 years.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But I\u2019m going to make it very quick. I was told to make it fast. But I was pretty upset about the gentleman that called in, talking down our troops do things over in Iraq. They\u2019re doing everything they can to ensure the safety, and everything is moving forward, and I wish people would understand that we support \u2019em here. We don\u2019t need those kind of people here making comments like that about our troops.<\/p>\n

RUSH: These clowns know it\u2019s working. That\u2019s why they\u2019re in panic city right now. That\u2019s why. They\u2019re probably fanning out all over the country, calling as many radio shows as they can. I know these people like every square inch of my glorious naked body.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (Laughs.)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not just the back of my hand, Scott, I know \u2019em. They\u2019re in panic here because the Drive-Bys don\u2019t have any more pictures of burning cars and so forth. The news is filled with, ‘Hey, this is working.\u2019 The New York Times has a poll today. More people think the original invasion was good and support the mission than did last week, last month. That\u2019s bad news for the Democrats, bad news for the left. So it\u2019s time to get in gear. I guarantee you they\u2019ve been meeting all week or all day with emergency sessions: ‘Uh-oh, how do we counter all of this? How do we subvert all of this?\u2019 Thanks for the call, Scott.
