RUSH: Okay, good, a post office number.<\/p>\n

CALLER: God bless you, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re welcome. I was calling about these people that were calling in yesterday regarding the pit bull attacks versus the —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, the famous Michael Vick situation, yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. And it just strikes me that the people who are so fed up over the animal thing, which is, of course, horrible but they\u2019re not that upset about the family murder, are people who tend to worship the creatures over the Creator.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, yes, yes. We understand why, especially when you talk about dogs here, man\u2019s best friend.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And of course the dog will do anything to protect its homestead and its master, you know, the cat would eat you if it were big enough.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But these people will humble themselves before anything with the exception of God. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you were calling because I shared with the audience yesterday, there\u2019s a couple of e-mails I got that said, ‘Your callers today are dumber than usual. Perhaps Snerdley is not applying himself in there.\u2019 <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you had called to raise the overall IQ average.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I was kidding of course.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, no, you obviously sound very intelligent. We intelligent people do not need to be — I mean, we can be humble about it. We don\u2019t have to be braggadocios, but we don\u2019t have to downplay it, either.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

RUSH: People downplay their achievements too much because they\u2019re afraid to be thought of as braggadocios.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, that\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Anyway, well, Cathy, are you really at the post office?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, I am.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, good. Are you safe?<\/p>\n

CALLER: At the moment.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (Laughing.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Speaking of that, if I could say hello to one of our guys who works here who is over in Iraq right now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah what\u2019s his name?<\/p>\n

CALLER: His name is Carl Anderson.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m sure he\u2019d be listening if they\u2019re allowing him to.<\/p>\n
