CALLER: A pleasure to talk to you, sir. I\u2019ve been a long-term listener, over 20 years. I\u2019d like to see the mayor of Oakland in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs and anybody else that doesn\u2019t enforce our immigration laws, as far as a city or government employee, the same.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, this is another puzzling thing. What he\u2019s talking about the mayor of Oakland is Libby Schaaf, S-c-h-a-f-f, and she\u2019s one of these leftists that years ago was a young woman who was buying into all of this drivel, this hateful drivel about how the United States owes the world everything because of how we\u2019ve mistreated the world, and so she views illegal immigrants as victims of the United States and the CIA, whatever other organizations have mistreated these people. And Trump, of course, is getting tough on illegal immigrants, particularly the criminal element among them, and rounding \u2019em up and deporting them.<\/p>\n
Well, Oakland is a sanctuary city within a sanctuary state, California, and this mayor has been giving local illegal aliens, even the criminal ones, a heads-up when she learns that ICE raids are about to happen. She essentially goes on the microphone and shouts, “Five-0! Five-0!” and they go into hiding. And this is clearly breaking the law I don\u2019t know how many times. And what he\u2019s wondering, when is she gonna be held accountable?<\/p>\n
And I get your frustration. When is Hillary Clinton gonna be held accountable? We appear to have a justice system that favors a particular political party and ideology. There\u2019s no other two ways around it. And it\u2019s frustrating as it can be. You ask when is somebody gonna do something about it? I wish I could tell you.
