Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Rush! You\u2019re always telling your loyal listeners that we can\u2019t see the footage of the 9\/11 attacks on the US. I really don\u2019t understand. I think a guy of your stature, you should be able to afford some of this footage and put it on yourself. I\u2019ve even seen it on community access here on Raleigh late night.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Uhhhh, I never even thought about buying it. I probably could, but I want to wait \u2019til it costs as much as possible. I don\u2019t buy things \u2019til they cost a lot of money.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: That explains it!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (Laughing.)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I never thought of that. (Laughing.) Thank you.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125110.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" class=\"alignright\"\/>RUSH: (Laughing.) You have a good point. I don\u2019t know the state of that footage. Do the networks own it, and would they sell it, and so forth? For example &#8212; just to give you an example &#8212; I have tried, and tried, and tried to buy videotape of all of the Super Bowls in the seventies that the Steelers were in, from the networks that broadcast them. They will not do it. The only way you can do it is go to NFL Films and get the highlight for each Super Bowl, which is either 30 minutes or an hour. They will not do it. They won\u2019t sell it no matter what I offer.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: That\u2019s better than me than trying to get a bake sale on. I never thought that you\u2019d just wait \u2019til the price was in the stratosphere.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, I have to keep up my image. If word gets out that I go out there and buy cheap stuff and pay as little as I can for it, then that house of cards could give me trouble. We all have our legacies here, and so I\u2019m glad you understand that. I appreciate that.
