RUSH: On Monday, we\u2019re going to do something that we have not done on this program before. Martha MacCallum, who hosts a program on the Fox News Channel called Live Desk that airs at 1 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday, has invited me on the program any number of times — and, of course, it\u2019s not possible because our programs air at the same time.<\/p>\n

So she\u2019s suggested, ‘Well, why don\u2019t you come over and we\u2019ll do some pre-tape?\u2019<\/p>\n

I said, ‘You can\u2019t do that because it\u2019s show prep,\u2019 and life is show prep and show prep is the show.<\/p>\n

‘No, it will only be ten minutes.\u2019<\/p>\n

‘No, it will be 45 just for the makeup.\u2019<\/p>\n

So I came up with an idea. I said, ‘Martha, why don\u2019t we simulcast a portion of my show with yours? You get your Fox tech people to put a camera in my radio studio, and then for the period of time that we\u2019re simulcast, I\u2019ll just pretend I\u2019m a guest on your show and you can ask whatever questions you want.\u2019 So the way this eventuated is that she and her producer are coming down here, and she\u2019s going to be in the studio on Monday with the Fox cameras and so forth. This is the first time I\u2019ve turned over a portion of this program to somebody else. You talk about a career risk. But it\u2019s the Fox News Channel, and it\u2019s going to be fun. So I wanted to plug that and advise you that that\u2019s coming up. It\u2019s the last half hour on Monday that we\u2019re going to simulcast, on the Fox News Channel\u2019s Live Desk with Martha MacCallum.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
