Say a Democrat actually wins office and we win the war in Iraq while they\u2019re in office, what do you think is going to happen, do you think they\u2019ll take credit, or what?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Hell, yes. They\u2019re going to try to take credit if it\u2019s an easily understood victory, even this year, this coming year, they\u2019ll try to take credit for it. They\u2019re not going to get away with it, but they will try. They will say, &#8216;Oh, yeah, it was our tough resolutions, we sped George Bush up, we told him to get this done and over with.\u2019 That\u2019s who they are, absolutely.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: You honestly think people would actually fall for that? <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: A lot of &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: &#8212; the whole time they\u2019ve actually been &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Anthony, Anthony, there\u2019s a lot of ignorance out there. There is a lot of ignorance. Anthony, to answer your question &#8212; I\u2019m being dead serious now &#8212; &#8216;you think people actually believe that?\u2019 Do you realize that 40% of this country is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton? That\u2019s just as absurd to me. Somebody tell me what she\u2019s done, what\u2019s she qualified for? She\u2019s the wife of a former president. She\u2019s fought for children for 35 years. What has she done? She\u2019s botched everything she\u2019s tried to fix. She doesn\u2019t get anything right, and yet 40% of this country is willing to vote for her for president, without knowing diddly-squat about her. She\u2019s a soap opera figure along with her husband. So would people believe Democrats if they start taking credit for winning the war and if they got the assistance of the Drive-By Media? Hell, yes. There are plenty. Ignorance is the most expensive thing we pay for in this country. Will they get away with it is another thing.
