It takes courage to come forward, especially with allegations of sexual misconduct or personal trauma. I\u2019m grateful for those who find that courage,\u2019 Grassley said in a statement. &#8216;But in the heat of partisan moments, some do try to knowingly mislead the committee. That\u2019s unfair to my colleagues, the nominees and others providing information who are seeking the truth. It stifles our ability to work on legitimate lines of inquiry. It also wastes time and resources for destructive reasons.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Now, the porn star lawyer, Avenatti, who was at one time&#8230; I\u2019m not kidding. At one time, some in the media, including on our side were thinking this guy was well-positioned to be the Democrat presidential front-runner nominee in 2020. Avenatti. He\u2019s got the IRS going after him now. He\u2019s apparently behind in tax payments almost $5 million. Anyway, issued a statement. &#8220;It is ironic that Senator Grassley now is interested in investigations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He didn\u2019t care when it came to putting a man on the SCOTUS for life. We welcome the investigation as now we can finally get to the bottom of Judge Kavanaugh\u2019s lies and conduct. Let the truth be known.&#8221; Michael Avenatti. So Grassley has referred Avenatti and his client, Julie Swetnick, to the DOJ for criminal investigation. And the creepy porn star lawyer says: \u201cRight on. Right on.
