CALLER: Hi, Rush. How are you today?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m fine. Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. I just wanted to ask you: What is your rating now?<\/p>\n

RUSH: What is my rating?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You mean like PG, X, R, NC-17? What do you mean? You mean audience ratings?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Audience rating.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, this is tough to discuss because we\u2019re technically not allowed to give intimate details. But I\u2019ll just tell you: through the roof here, Claudette.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And what was it before Operation Chaos?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Look, they\u2019re number one then; they\u2019re number one now. They\u2019re up. It\u2019s actually phenomenal. We\u2019ve only gotten in the January-February-March rating period, which we in the broadcast business call the ‘winter book.\u2019 We only have about 25 markets in — the top 25, which is 80% of the country in terms of population. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s kick ass!<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Is what it is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, Operation Chaos only started the month of March. I think the next report we\u2019ll get is in July. We get monthly reports but those don\u2019t… Radio ratings are strange. They\u2019re not like television ratings at all, but don\u2019t worry about it out there, Claudette. We\u2019re expanding in geometric proportions here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I just wanted to tell you that I think that Operation Chaos is silly. It\u2019s misleadin\u2019. It\u2019s backwards. It\u2019s an insult to your listeners and it leads me to question your love of people, your love of country — and I want you to know: When you say — say things to really throw everybody in confusion, what do you think when you hear words such as ‘truth,\u2019 ‘honesty,\u2019 ‘trust\u2019? What comes to your mind?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Truth, honesty —<\/p>\n

CALLER: I doubt that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — trust equals R-U-S-H. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay! I got that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s what comes to mind. What in the world…? Claudette, how long have you listened to this program? Everything about this program is done for America.<\/p>\n
