I wanted to say that you are the crack cocaine of the media. You got Fox News, they\u2019re like the cigarettes, the gateway drug, and you got Sean Hannity, he\u2019s the gateway drug with marijuana, and you are the crack cocaine of the media. I just wanted to lay that out there. You know. But I\u2019m calling to see what your thoughts on &#8212; and I\u2019m really nervous, sorry. Okay.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I would be, too, if I were you, you just called me crack cocaine.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I\u2019m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You just called Hannity marijuana or whatever you called him. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125117.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"199\" height=\"289\" class=\"alignright\"\/>RUSH: What\u2019s Mark Levin?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Ummm, he might be speed.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Speed. Okay.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: We won\u2019t go into any other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay, so I\u2019m crack cocaine, Levin\u2019s speed, Hannity is marijuana. We\u2019re all gateway drugs.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah, I was just theorizing &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: &#8212; for a little bit.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, we all understand.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, actually my question is, why is polygamy &#8212; why can a man be put in jail for taking many wives and having many babies in a marriage situation, but a man who is not married can have many girlfriends, ten girlfriends and have ten babies, and they get government assistance &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Snerdley. Okay. Let me see if I understand this. And I\u2019m speaking to you here as crack cocaine.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You want to know why a polygamist is breaking the law when he marries a bunch of babes, has a bunch of kids, and why a cad who doesn\u2019t marry the babes, just runs around and has a lot of kids with different women &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Isn\u2019t it the same thing?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; is not found to be in violation of the law. You want to know why one can get away with it and the other can\u2019t?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, I would.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, basically it\u2019s the law. I mean, marriage in this country is one man, one woman; one man, one man; two women, two women; one man, one dog; one man, one gerbil. But when you start adding a third party to it, then you have violated the law.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: So it\u2019s a contract that violates the law?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: No, it\u2019s because weddings take place, they\u2019re religious-legal things. Many of them are religious. You take the oath under God, before God. Sometimes you do it before a croupier in Vegas, but it\u2019s a solemn thing. You can\u2019t legally marry two people in the United States. I don\u2019t know why not. It\u2019s just because you can\u2019t, that\u2019s what the law says. Look, the law says I can\u2019t have my damn turtle lights on, why? Because the law says. Is the law stupid? Yes. You know, the real question here, Justin, this is what you ought to ask yourself. Have you ever been married?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I\u2019m married now.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125117.Par.4584.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"239\" height=\"255\" class=\"alignleft\"\/>RUSH: Would you want a second wife? Would you want to be married to two or three at the same time?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Maybe if they\u2019re foreign girls.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: What do you mean, if they\u2019re foreign? If one lives in one country and the other one lives in another country?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I don\u2019t want to bash American women on air, so &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Why? I mean you just bashed American talk show hosts as gateway drugs.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No, I was just trying to make a &#8212; (goofy laugh) <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You want to marry somebody else but you don\u2019t want to get divorced, that\u2019s obvious.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, yeah, I love my wife, but she\u2019s against it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I wonder why? Why do you want to marry another woman at the same time you\u2019re married to this current wife?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Why?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I guess maybe it\u2019s pride, more power, have more babies, rule over more women.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You just want to spread your seed all over the place and you need a lot of women to do it.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah. Well, you know, using your example, I would divorce your wife and stay in a relationship with her and then go get a couple girlfriends and just do what your alternative scenario was, and then nobody will get mad at you.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah. I love her, so I\u2019m actually fasting right now because of it, trying to change my mind-set, kinda.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, that\u2019s a real way to do it, deny your brain nourishment.
