{"id":295825,"date":"2019-01-07T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-07T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/admin.rushlimbaugh.com\/?p=295825"},"modified":"2019-01-08T15:52:26","modified_gmt":"2019-01-08T20:52:26","slug":"whats-going-on-with-apple-stock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/daily\/2019\/01\/07\/whats-going-on-with-apple-stock\/","title":{"rendered":"What\u2019s Going on with Apple Stock?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: Also, I\u2019ve got a lot of people asking, &#8220;Rush, are you gonna talk about what happened to the Apple stock?&#8221;\u00a0 Yeah, I am.\u00a0 But I\u2019ve got other things I want to get to first.\u00a0 But, of course, I can\u2019t get it all in today, everything that happened over the break that I want to weigh in on.\u00a0 But that is something that I do want to weigh in on \u2019cause it has implications beyond Apple. It\u2019s not just Apple. It\u2019s beyond Apple. It affected the stock market, the ChiCom economy. But, more importantly, you have to understand something, folks.\u00a0 Silicon Valley, the tech community, hates Donald Trump and it\u2019s not even related to business.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-272867\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/APP-050218-Apple-Store-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/APP-050218-Apple-Store-001.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/APP-050218-Apple-Store-001-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>It\u2019s pure, pure politics.<\/p>\n<p>They just hate Trump.<\/p>\n<p>So Cook, in explaining what went wrong with Apple not meeting its sales projections for the Christmas quarter, they had to issue a revision that their guidance was even worse than what they thought when they issued it back in November.\u00a0 They\u2019re required by law to do this.\u00a0 If they\u2019re gonna come in way below what they\u2019ve told the market they\u2019re expecting, they have to revise it.\u00a0 So they\u2019ve revised it. &#8220;We\u2019re gonna be even $5 billion shorter in revenue than we thought we were gonna be,&#8221; and in his statement Cook alleged to the ongoing trade war with China &#8212; i.e., it\u2019s Trump\u2019s fault!\u00a0 Trump did it!\u00a0 Trump\u2019s doing it!<\/p>\n<p>They just can\u2019t help themselves.<\/p>\n<p>But there are other factors involved in this that, yeah, I do want to weigh in on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: I&#039;ve got a lot of people asking, &quot;Rush, are you gonna talk about what happened to the Apple stock?&quot;\u00a0 Yeah, I am.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":49,"featured_media":272867,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","ngg_post_thumbnail":0},"categories":[12,1],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>What\u2019s Going on with Apple Stock?
