RUSH: Since we\u2019re talking about wacko things, try this. USA Today yesterday. \u201cPollution From White People Disproportionately Affects Blacks, Hispanics.<\/a>\u201d You didn\u2019t hear about this, either? Well, it\u2019s a good thing I came back from vacation. Look at all the things you people miss. This is USA Today. This is not some fringe, wacko penny saver type publication.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile the air pollution in the U.S. has gotten cleaner \u2013” Wait. It has? Well, if that\u2019s true, then our contribution to climate change has gotta be going down. Okay. From the beginning. \u201cWhile the air pollution the U.S. has gotten cleaner in the past decade, pollution inequity has remained high. The air that Americans breathe is not equal. Blacks and Hispanics disproportionately breathe air that\u2019s been polluted by non-Hispanic whites, according to a study. This new research quantifies for the first time the racial gap between who causes air pollution and who breathes it.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is absurd! This is what liberalism gives us! This is what the Drive-By Media reports. I guess by this token, yeah, Mexico would have to be one of the cleanest places on earth. No litter, no pollution, no inequities whatsoever. The air that Americans breathe isn\u2019t equal. Pollution is disproportionately caused by whites, but disproportionately inhaled by black and Hispanic communities. \u201cThese findings confirm what most grassroots environmental justice leaders have known for decades.\u201d What is an environmental justice leader? What is environmental justice? These are just code words for community organizing leftists.<\/p>\n

Anyway. “These findings confirm what most grassroots environmental justice leaders have known for decades, ‘whites are dumping their pollution on poor people and people of color…'” You know who said this? “Texas Southern University Public Affairs Prof. Robert Bullard, who was not involved with the study”! Robert Bullard, often called “the father of environmental justice,” is African-American. A professor. “These findings confirm what most grassroots environmental justice leaders have known for decades, ‘whites are dumping their pollution on poor people and people of color.'”<\/p>\n

Okay. So how are you white people doing this? Because I know I\u2019m not. I\u2019m not dumping my pollution anywhere. I don\u2019t go to the places where they are, so I cannot be dumping on \u2019em. What are you white people doing to do this? You white people know who you are. You pollution dumpers, you know who you are. How are you getting this done — and how were you found out? How did they discover you in the act? (interruption) Air dye? Hmm. Air dye. You mean the pollution of white liberals is dyed so that it can be seen as it\u2019s dumped on…? (interruption)<\/p>\n

Oh, I see. They are driving their cars, their polluters into Hispanic and African-American neighborhoods and dumping their pollution there. And then what do they do? Get a tow home so that they don\u2019t bring the pollution back to the subdivision? This is a long story. Here\u2019s another. “The study found that blacks and Hispanics bear a ‘pollution burden\u2019… blacks are exposed to about 56% more pollution than is caused by their consumption and Hispanics, the numbers are slightly higher.” I get it. I see how they\u2019ve done it now.<\/p>\n
