(laughs)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I understand.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I tried calling you two weeks ago, I envied you so much going back to my home to see that playoff game, you have no idea. I can\u2019t believe our Steelers. (laughs)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Are you going to the game?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I wish. I haven\u2019t worked for a year, Rush. I\u2019d give my right arm. My son and I will watch. I\u2019ll be down at his house. We aren\u2019t going to make it, but always a Pittsburgher. I remember when you were the struggling disc jockey. (laughs)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You lived there when I was on the air?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I\u2019m the same age as you, Rush.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, you know, I wish I\u2019d have known this. I purchased a box, a suite at the Super Bowl &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Ugh!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; and it\u2019s got 32 seats in it, and I\u2019m using it to host my clients.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, great.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Advertisers, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carbonite.com\/ads\/rush\/banner1.aspx?SourceTag=RushSite&amp;cmpid=RA_Rush_1_Banner\">Carbonite<\/a> guys are going to be there and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zicam.com\/\">Zicam<\/a> guys, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifelock.com\/default.aspx?promocode=RushL\">LifeLock<\/a> people, a whole bunch of people are going to be in there, and I am going over tonight to host them in a dinner and I\u2019ve got some players and sports guys coming by to talk to them, but I had some seats left. If I\u2019d have known that, I would have put you in there.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, my goodness! Oh, I can\u2019t handle it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: But there was no way of knowing. You haven\u2019t worked in a year, and you &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Looking, struggling, looking for a job. Things are slow here in Pensacola. I have a granddaughter here. That\u2019s why I\u2019m here. That\u2019s why we moved down there originally, but, you know. What are you going to do? (laughs) But my Steelers are just&#8230; Pittsburgh, once it\u2019s in your heart and you live there, it never goes away. I mean, I &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It\u2019s like Tony Dungy, Coach Dungy who just retired &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yep.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8212; from the Indianapolis Colts said. He played for the Steelers under Chuck Noll.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, I know.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8216;Once a Steeler, always a Steeler.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Absolutely. Absolutely. It never leaves you. My whole house here is black and gold. I have Terrible Towels hanging in my windows. There are people driving up just to see me. (laughing) But I am thrilled about that, and they are going to win it, and Hutch sounds like the most wonderful guy, but I gotta tell you: He\u2019s wrong. Ha. He is way wrong on this game.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, he is a great guy. He loves to tweak me.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125115.Par.4584.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" class=\"alignright\"\/>RUSH: Part of the reason he\u2019s picking the Cardinals. I don\u2019t believe Hutch believes half of what he said.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughing) But I also have to tell you, Rush, what you\u2019re doing for us conservatives, I can\u2019t tell you enough. I just&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, that\u2019s very nice. Look, I appreciate that, and I really do wish you the best.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, I do, too. Like I said, you\u2019re the one person, if I ever had the chance to sit down to spend an evening with a person it would be you because I could talk to you about so many different things, but you are doing a great job and keep it up. That\u2019s all I can say, and enjoy the game, \u2019cause we will be enjoying it here in Pensacola, too.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Let it lift you up.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I will. How many do you need?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: To go to the game?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: To go to the game.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Probably just two, me and my son because there\u2019s my husband and my granddaughter and his wife so I would never even think to ask for five. I mean, yeah, five.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Five is what you would need, but you\u2019d take two.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No, two. My son and I, if I could take him he would just love it. But I don\u2019t know if we could afford to get there, either, from here, you know, to fly.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: We\u2019ll handle that. Don\u2019t sweat that. Pensacola is not that far from Tampa.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No, it isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: We\u2019ll handle that. I\u2019ll tell you what, I\u2019m making no guarantees here, but I\u2019ve got a note here that says we can get you some tickets, I just don\u2019t know how many. So let me hang up. You stay on hold, and Mr. Snerdley will get information from you so that we can get back to you in case this works out.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh! Oh! I don\u2019t even&#8230; Well, I don\u2019t know what to say.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You don\u2019t have to say anything. I had a cold last week that it arrested, I would not have been there, and of course those guys are going to be watching; and the Carbonite people, the people that are able to back up your computer hard drive. I got an e-mail from a guy who, by the way, he went out and just did it on a whim. He went out and backed up his computer on a whim and all of a sudden his computer died. He took it in to have it repaired; they had to wipe the hard drive, and he had forgotten that he had backed up to Carbonite, because it happens in the background. You don\u2019t even know it. Then he remembered it, and he was just ecstatic. Oh, it looks like we\u2019ve got &#8212; da-da-da-da-da-da-da. We\u2019re going to make it happen. Only two tickets? Only two tickets. Tell her only two tickets. We\u2019ll find a way to get gasoline and hotel.
